well done. there's a lot to be said about knowing your airplane. how it sounds, how it feels. Tape off the whole panel. not a problem. I would like an operating Oil Pressure / CHT gauge. Those come in really handy before engine lockup in flight. :)

Point of correction , this plane is not an Aero Commander 114 B . It's just a Commander 114 B. This is a mistake even ATC people make for some reason. An Aero Commander is a completely different airplane.

There's nothing exceptional about the Cardinal. Except its beauty. Except its handling. Except its performance. Except how easy it is to take off and land. Except the deep satisfaction one gets after landing. That's all. But I really, really miss it!
