High and Lonesome | 10 days on the wind river high route, Wyoming
มุมมอง 3152 ปีที่แล้ว
on the wind River highway, there's no trail for you to follow, you're pretty much completely off trail the entire time and have to navigate and route fine on your own. It can be very slow going at times, on one day we hiked for 12 hours and made it 5 mi on trail. There's also plenty of storms to slow you down, especially in the mid-afternoon. ultimately, it was one of the greatest trails I had ...
Once Upon A Time On The Continental Divide Trail
มุมมอง 1922 ปีที่แล้ว
I have always wanted to show my friends and family these long trails that I have hiked but unfortunately many of them can't make it out to these trails. So I had the idea to bring the trail to them! And then of course bring it back in the form of a rock named "rocky". thanks for watching this video
This Is A Story About 2021
มุมมอง 6913 ปีที่แล้ว
2021 has been an amazing year for me in so many ways! I have had the great opportunity to travel and live in many different places around the world and go on lots of adventures as well. At the beginning of the year, I moved to Bolivia taking all of my online college classes with me! I was able to go on many adventures all across Bolivia and live in a few different cities there as well. In May I...

Day 4 was a long and hard day with three 16,000 ft. passes and over 20 miles of hiking. The weather was cold and wet which is normal for March in the Andes which just so happens to be mon...
Backpacking in Bolivia | 8 Days in the Cordillera Real Range
มุมมอง 6103 ปีที่แล้ว
I spend 8 days backpacking from La Paz to Sorata, Bolivia thru the Cordillera Real Mountains, some of the tallest mountains I have ever hiked thru in my life. The average elevation for this trip was over 14,000 ft. with many 16,000 ft. passes along the way. I was met with lots of gnarly weather on this trip as well as it was still the wet season in Bolivia and experienced rain, snow, hail, whit...
THE TALLEST MOUNTIAN I HAVE EVER CLIMBED
มุมมอง 4523 ปีที่แล้ว
VOLCÁN SAIRECABUR is a 19,590 ft. (5,971 m) mountain in the south east of Bolivia right on the border of Bolivia and Chile. My plan was to climb the peak form the Bolivian side as opposed from the Chilean side which is much more popular. It as about a7.5 mile hike each way with 5000 ft. of vertical gain from the "trail head". This was one of the most rewarding and challenging projects of my lif...

Awesome video Ian :) !
Nice video, brother! Beautiful scenery, beautiful storytelling. McGuyver
Thanks McGyver! Hope to see you soon
Cool video Ian I enjoyed all the shots of mountains and flowers you saw along the way. Why did you choose to go from Mexico- Canada’s opposed to the reverse? Looks like a wild adventure bro! -Justina
It would allow us for more time to go northbound rather than southbound. The weather window for hiking south is much shorter so you'd have to hike faster. I also really love the idea of finishing in Canada at waterton lake and also the timing with quitting my job made sense to start in April
Looking good bro! btw it looks like your website's security pass has expired - it's like having an outdated ID for your site. Visitors are being warned that it's not safe to visit because of this. You'll need to get it updated so that everything is secure again.
Thanks chi, I'll look into my website. Thanks for looking out
love it!! what a great celebration of thruhiking.
Thanks Luke, I do feel like it was quite the celebration!
Wow! Alright Ian - a damn fine video! The mental struggle being as tough or tougher than the physical challenge? Yeah, that sounds about right. Good to see Lauren included in a couple of cameos, as well as at the northern terminus. Next up: New Zealand and the Te Araroa!
Thanks Scott, I'm glad you like the video. Getting very excited for New Zealand right now!
Beautiful trail
Thanks, Naomi
Hey Kingo, nice memories from last year 😍 I like the way you see things and record them 👍 Keep it up - miss you bud! Best regards from Germany 🙏🏼
That one setting with the red dirt was amazing. Right before you mentioned that it was the best place you've been for taking photos I was thinking it looked better than most locations in westerns. The shoe break down was interesting. You should show where the shoes were failing
I finally saw broke back mountain and i can feel the similar vibes at the backpacking summer camp
Amazing, definitely adding to the bucket list. Thanks for this!
thats high ass elevation, how did you manage the thin air?
"Amazing. So good." I agree. Just... wow.
They mail like the same as the one i saw on the mountain top at Trinity alps
You named your pet rock "Rocky"? 🤣
