You know with this art of Chara below Frisk when they fell gives me a certain feeling. What if Chara was sending the ones that are the human souls? If you think about it, it’d make sense if you believe the theories that Chara was good, but the way they act is depending upon how the player does things. So, Chara, after they and Asriel die, started to notice Flowey, seeing him playing around with the timeline and overall starting to plan the destruction of monster and humankind. Chara then realises that this “Flowey” was in fact Asriel, and them, wanting to help him, wanting to save him from this nightmare he was obviously going through, decided to find ways to bring humans into the underground. With each attempt they got a little frustrated when they tried to attack the monsters. They begin to realise that there has to be a particular human soul type that can help, and the ones they chose did not have it. Then, in enters Frisk. Chara notices that they look like them, and they notice they have the same human soul they had, the determination soul. They made it so Frisk would fall into the underground and save the monsters AND Asriel, despite the fact that he was possibly turned back into Flowey, he probably retained the fact that he was not Flowey, but Asriel. In the end, Chara was happy, their decision was right, and they saved Asriel from being the way he was.
