Today we are making soap in a slab mold! I finally bought a couple slabs, and this is my first attempt at making a soap in one.

What you are explaining is soap dough. I make my own, and I sculpt it and make my own embeds ALL THE TIME. And you can use any soap recipe you have. If you want to take a look, @lucynellsoaps on insta
I made it accidentally once and have been perfecting it from then on. Once I knew what it was called I was like, that makes perfect sense... lol
What’s the fo? And yes, stick blending your colors and fo in will def accelerate!
Pomegranate cider. I always stick blend, but I forgot this fragrance literally turns to mashed potatoes almost instantly. I wrote it on the bottle but it was smudged off... lol ♡

WithMyHandsAndHeart RachaelTelakowicz I just started to make soap, still learning tons, I notice that my trace get thick really fast hard to make designs, I think I blend too much, not sure when the light trace shows up and stop blending, because I am scared of leaving any lye behind, it is a learning experience

I still have not worked up the nerve to use the heat transfer method lol. Your soap turned out beautiful!
It's so much easier in my opinion. No prep time other that cleaning and sanitizing. I did add a few ounces more of liquid oils to keep it from hardening too fast. I make my next 10 soaps with this method and share my results. ♡

I have bought my Dad soap on a rope for years but his complaint is it must be for looks as you can't get your hand in any of them as I buy from all different places so as I've been making soap which all the family have been gifted to them for various things. So this year I ordered a soap mold intended for soap on the rope and will make the rope much longer than the regular rope you can buy for the mold from the mold supplier
I've never seen a mold specifically for soap on a rope! My Dad and husband loved these so I may make more when they run out. 😁
