really enjoyed this interview as I don't think I have ever heard Dan speak so much before ! lol. There was some nice insight into the band's psyche. I also enjoyed your passion for the band. I have been seeing them live since July 94 {When Dan had his Romulan haircut} and have no plans on stopping. Would have to check ticket stubs but I feel like I have seen them 13-17 times. Maybe more, I am old
Thanks so much for listening, Andrew! Your history with the band is very cool to hear. I wish I could have seen them on the early tours. I love how Dan said that their process for writing hasn't changed since those days.
@@DanTimePod The first 2 times I saw them was in Vancouver , Canada. One was a tiny club while the other was a small theatre and they were opening up on Marilyn Mansons first tour. That opening slot made me laugh and showed their sense of humour. Manson of course had quite a few stage props so I guess Clutch thought they should have some as well. So they had two full size cardboard cut-outs of Stormtroopers. 😆
Went to a charity gale concert just to hear Travis play! Met him after the show and he was such a nice guy! That will always be one of my favorite memories
