Kangaroo Freeze Lyrics:
Aussie battler, that's my name
Raygun heat, feeling the flame
Summer games, playing my game
Breaker ray, adding to the fame
Raygun, Raygun, melting the floor
Kangaroo spirit, I want more
Zero points? That's part of the score
Meme Queen rising, watch me soar
Breakdancing dreams, coming true
Chin swirl, got moves for you
Kangaroo hop, feeling the groove
Kangaroo freeze, I won't move
Raygun, Raygun, changing the game
Zero to hero, that's my aim
My moves are unique, not the same
Breaker Ray, fuelling the flame
Sydney skyline, feeling the vibe
Raygun power, keeping me alive
Olympic spirit, taking a dive
But my spirit, it will survive
Raygun, Raygun, melting the floor
Kangaroo spirit, I want more
Zero points? That's part of the score
Meme Queen rising, watch me soar
Breaker Ray, Aussie way
Meme Queen's here, come what may
Kangaroo moves, I'm here to stay
Raygun dreams, light the way

Stuck on Crib Goch Knife Edge Ridge, Snowdon
มุมมอง 1.6M10 ปีที่แล้ว
Crib Goch Knife Edge Ridge in Snowdon was the destination for a personal challenge for me to complete. Scared of heights all my life, I wanted to push my boundaries and set myself a meaningful challenge on my 31st Birthday. I came across video's like you on youtube and thought perfect - Crib Goch it is, it looks spectacular. As you can see from the video I got stage fright, but I completed the ...

The unique Sea Organ of Zadar is really a great idea and sound unbelievably relaxing. Each time tide hits the steps of the Sea Organ a hypnotic sound resonates from Organ that is almost always original. The Sea Organ is such a peaceful spot to sit and relax, and of course a tourist attraction. If you are visiting Zadar make sure you spend some time here to watch the sun set to this beautiful me...
What is the white contraption on his back ?

Never having done anything like this myself, I struggle to see why any normally sane person would put themselves through this torture, I understand it's about challenging yourself and pushing your boundaries but that poor man is clearly terrified as would I be. I also think the people who do this kind of stuff are slightly selfish because they are still willing to do challenges like this which quite often means putting another person's life in danger when they need to be rescued, my opinion only though! Can someone who has done this challenge answer me, is it the camera angles? Or is it really that steep? No way I would do this. Hats off to you that have!
I did crib Goch this weekend and almost shit myself, it is a scary scramble especially when the clouds roll in
WTF is he carrying on his back??!

What an absolute diamond geezer His children clearly feel very comfortable and confident in his presence its truly inspring
That guy came along just at the right time, plus having a supportive partner, that makes all the difference. Though I'm very fit I also really struggle with exposure at height and a a bit of height can turn something that I'd run across at ground level into a brain-melting challenge!
@neiljohnson8589 there's no shame in that at all, you should be proud that you got through it Will you be trying any other ridge lines in an attempt to fave your fear of heights ?
Most sane people use ropes up there, right?
Bugger that
The ģirls got some⚽️⚽️🙄😂 people have died climbing it though...
Looks scary AF tbf. Fair play...
We had a school trip there in the 1970s. One of the teachers had an old double decker bus converted into a motor home. We had zero proper gear. As we crawled along Crib Goch, I was wearing a sheepskin flying jacket and Doc Marten boots, my mate Mick was wearing a full length RAF greatcoat from the surplus stores, with a bush hat. We couldn’t even see the drop on either side, through the fog. The guy in front of me actually lost his footing but managed to grab the rocks. We met a group of soldiers on exercises up there. When we got down to Llanberis, we saw them again;;one of them came over and asked after Mick. “We were worried about him,” he told us 😂😂😂
How many runners fall from that edge? I did it in the army and have no idea why people do it Just dont complain if you fall 😊
Fuck doing that again
pathetic...must be a gillette be the BEST A MAN CAN GET...LOL
My hands are literally soaking just watching this.
Nope
Until you are there you don't really know how you will react and then until you are fatigued you dont know your limits. This goes for everything in life.
I want to do this. Did striding edge twice and sharp edge once. I think I will get my weight down to ideal level and do some working out. But life and work makes this hard. I may hire a guide though.
Who made this? This is fantastic.
Yes, I'm guilty. Glad you enjoyed it!!
I went up there with an uncle when I was 14 and near skipped across there…….i couldn’t even do the first mile now
How is it that we are allowed to do this but I can’t even send a bloke up a set of step ladders without a risk assessment
You've got to keep moving and try not to crawl. The fish eye lens makes it look a lot worse than it is. Good idea of the national park not to signpost the route haha!
I always think that wide angle lenses always make it look a lot more exposed and difficult. I once did the route with 3 others in winter, at night, no wind, full moon. That was over 60 years ago. We slept on the summit and when the sun rose, below us was an inversion layer, all the peaks poking through the cloud layer. It was so wonderful that I can still see it as if it had happened yesterday. Thumbs up for Simon in the video - and those two little kids, so relaxed, brilliant.
Great story! I wouldn't be brave enough to try it in winter, or the dark. I can imagine peaks of the mountains poking through the cloud line. Amazing view!
@justgopro8511 Yes, it was quite an experience which has stayed with me all my life. Remember in those days there was no technical clothing, all out stuff was from the Army and Navy stores, we just got soaked if it rained or you were in mist od cloud. I did have a decent pair of leather vibram soled boots bought from the Betws-y-Coed mountain supply shop ( then privately owned I think ) which somebody stole from me about 30 years later. Our group of 4 was led by a guy from the Oxford Mountaineering Club, experienced, knew what he was doing. One big advantage of doing it at night is that you don’t feel the exposure at all. I can't remember what we used for lights, I don't think head torches were available then. We had motored up from Oxford in an old van after work on a Friday night and just kept going to the Llanberis car park because the weather was so clear. Best decision we ever made. Those were the days when hardly anyone went walking. Mostly met British Army guys wearing nailed boots. There were very few accidents because I think people did what they thought they could do and no more. All you had was a map and compass. Mobile phones and GPS didn't exist- you really were on your own.
That guy Simon in the red jacket ? I want him to be my therapist.
Are there not safer ways to tackle a fear of heights than this life threatening hazardous crawl across a knife edge? Then the kids came on the scene! 😟But advice was good, stick to one side. I'll remember that if ever I'm up there!
Nice ppl to help, and I know how he feels
What a nice bloke
OMG, I have to use this for a video project!
Nope. Never never never.
His 6'2" friend: *_"just go and talk to her, just act natural you'll be fine."_* Him.(5'10"): ...
My God......I couldn't / wouldn't do that for 10 million!
Simon what a guy!
Absolutely stupid to put yourself in that position.
When I see this video, and know how many people fall to their death on Crib Goch ridge, it looks a bit like a bullet has been dodged on this trip! That said well done for completing, and Simon encapsulates the best in humanity🙂
What happens if you want to go number 2s
Should of wing suited into that lake below
Thats it you're doing well, just grab that rock there, no not that one!!! Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh😂😂😂😂😂😂
What a great guy Simon is!
Is it slippery when rain?
I believe it is, we would not have attempted it unless the weather was perfect, and on that day it was. My biggest risk with the weather was sunburn and dehydration.
My mates dad took him up here when he was 8
The woman recording was so reassuring and supportive, I loved that… Also that Simon guy was an absolute star, and his 2 little daughters just taking it in their stride
A difficult watch. Brave or stupid though? It would be stupid for me to attempt this. Too risky.
This video somehow makes it look a lot worse than it actually is.
Looks fun
It's not heights so much I'm bothered about, it's open spaces. So I would be dying on this 😬
Well done, conquering fears, not easy! I tell you who is the bravest guy up there though and that's the father in the red shirt. Not only was he incredibly helpful to you, but having done Crib Goch many times, including in severe winter conditions there's no way I'd have the balls to take my 8 year old across that without ropes....very impressed!
If for some nightmarish reason I was blindfolded, and placed on there with a helicopter, and told to walk\climb my way across, or die, I would die where I was,I wouldn't even have been able to open my eyes, my fear of heights is so bad, even though I did two bungee jumps away back in the 90s, I love the big theme park rides, have been on a plane a few times etc, and yet couldn't go up a ladder onto the roof a normal up, and down stairs house,I could probably go up the ladder to the gutter, but couldn't go onto the roof, and definitely not from the roof onto the ladder haha, I just don't understand why I like the roller coasters etc, I'm an ex brickie, and have worked on scaffolding, with the green safety netting, but that's not the same as wide openess Infront of you, and the old saying, telling you to not to look down, but to look up, that's worse, you still know it's just as far downwards haha, anyway,a good, and informative wee video.
Just completed Striding Edge in the Lake District in the last few days with a great fear of heights, so knowing how you were feeling absolutely well done, amazing to overcome.
This is absolutely savage domestic abuse. The poor guy.
Not my idea of a relaxing weekend.
I used to work as a climbing instructor and was up at heights all the time. Then one day I just became terrified of heights. I can't even go near a window more than three stories up. Lol it sucks lol
