Is it worth the read? - The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue appears to be super popular with a ton of reviews so I decided to get back into reading by starting with this book!
Since I haven't read any books in such a long time, I don't have anything recent to compare it to but overall I definitely liked the book.
If you haven't read it yet and would like to support my channel, consider ordering yourself a copy on Amazon here: amzn.to/3HnTRtz

I know it’s been a while but do you still have this vacuum? And if so would you mind giving me the dimensions? Online I can only find the heights listed as 270mm
Still have it lol, what dimensions are you looking for?
@@reviewwithdan the length and width if you don’t mind, I’m trying to see if it will fit into the storage container system that I use for all my household goods. And I’m assuming that their 270mm height measurement is from the floor to the crest of the vacuum, but if you could verify that to I’d really appreciate it
The length is 17 inches and height about 8.5 inches. That's all without the hose and brush handle
And about 10" wide at the widest points
@@reviewwithdan you’re the man! Thank you! It looks like it will fit perfectly in my application
quelle est la température dégagée par cet appareil ...peut elle atteindre les 50 degrés Celsius ?
Great review and that's the one for me for my little house and car and looks to be great value for money at $349 Aud.
You really shouldn't use steam on leather - I'm not quite sure what led you to think it might be a good idea!
I own the exact one and it's been in storage for 6 years. I came here to see how to load it again. It has always been a good little staple for me. I'm about to cover some kitchen seats.
I have used it for thousands of staples; it's all plastic except were it matters, so it is a delicate stapler, but used within its limits, it keeps on going without downtime, penetrates deep, very fast, and can load a lot of staples at ones; mine is still brand new
For bigger cleans just have a bucket of water to refill
thank you for this! i lost my measuring cup and no manual says how much it holds at the fill line and i was hesitant to risk making an overly expensive pipe bomb just to treat my house
thank u shareing
It's a piece of crap I used it once refilled it and now it's broken. Don't buy it
Mine also stopped working and it's likely due to not using distilled water 🤷♂️ but as stated in my other comments it's definitely not the greatest
Given the angle and lighting it does appear that there is no steam being released lol - you can hear the steam at the very end of the video that it is in fact coming out, it's just very difficult to see it
I have the same one and I just ❤ it!!Got mine in 2018/2019. No problems.
Thanks for taking the time to show the stapler. I also cannot find it at a store, but found it on Craigslist for $20. I'm thinking about getting it, in light of your video and the prices listed for the out of stock ones you showed. I have 3 manual Arrow staplers (I got two at a yard sale that were in a tool box I bought for $2) and they are so hard to use and keep on target. Maybe there's a trick to them that I don't get. But for years I have put nearly all my weight on these manuals and I don't see how they are practical to use that way. I got an older electric Bostitch at the same yard sale, but I can't find staples to fit it. I went to ACE and they didn't know either, so it's worthless. I wanted something I could use to staple carpet onto plywood to make a play station for my cats.
I would also suggest to check on FB marketplace, Kijiji and depending on where you live you may have some local classifieds pages that might hide some gems. And definitely check for staples before you buy. I guess I got lucky as this was the first time for me buying and using a stapler like this but I ended up finding staples fairly quickly at a local Canadian Tire store 🙂. I'm glad you found the video helpful
Does the exhaust come out the top grill or screen?
Idk everything made by Bissell is junk.....but I could understand a steamer. Bissell makes the worst cheapest..... anyway they are presently make poopy products.
Actually I just tried to use my steamer the other day and it's dead! Still heats up and all but pressing the trigger does absolutely nothing 🤷♂️ my rating of this seems to decrease the more I try to use it
Have you tried Bissell Spot Clean Pro
On my 2nd one...2nd one does not work either...
😩 p͓̽r͓̽o͓̽m͓̽o͓̽s͓̽m͓̽
I've purchased two of these. They work well ... obiviously since I purchased a 2nd steamshot. However, both of the Bissells failed in the trigger mechanism. Once is a fluke, twice tells me it is a design problem. Would be interested to know if others have had this problem.
I have the trigger stuck in the on position. Can it be fixed?
Literally have the same issue now. Trigger doesn't do anything. Idk if I'll investigate and try to fix it, doesn't seem to be worth it tbh
@@robinmchugh4478 probably would cost more for Bissell to repair unless it is still under warranty
@@reviewwithdan unless covered by warranty probably not worth it. My second one steams, I just can't shut it off without unplugging. I only use it for jobs that don't required triggering it. I contacted Bissell and they were sorry I was having this problem. Doesn't seem as though they are taking steps to correct the problem. Too bad, because it is a dandy steamer when it works
Good points. I read up and discovered that the water I put in may be too hard therefore alkalizing and somehow damaging the unit. Perhaps it using better water could help it last longer 🤷♂️
👍👍👍 I never did know how to make staple go all the way in. Mine is a hundred years old. And still works
Thanks thanks. I have not used it in so long I forgot how to load it
Happy to hear that ☺️
I love mine
I need some reviews
What about bathrooms mold ? Had you tried it ?
Have not but I can see hot steam being able to lift off the mold
Ammonia gets rid of black mould. Steam won't touch it, unfortunately.
Thanks
hold it sideways tilted to fill it up. no need to unplug and cool down.
I'll have to try that👍
HOW? the steamer is pressurized, removing the cap while hot is not advisable.
Anyone reading this, please don't do this! It's a _pressurised_ unit and you could end up with a serious injury. 🤕
Can we use hot water to ready it quickly
Interesting question! Haven't tried it but you might be onto something here!👍
In the user guide it says "Do not add anything except cool water or you will cause damage to the heating element and void your warranty." It doesn't take long to heat up though.
@@elvergalargafilmz2603 thanks for the information 👍
@@lovelyfiza6018 No problem, I saw these comments a few days ago and when I read the guide earlier I thought, oh man I should warn them lol I thought it would work that way too.
Good catch! Could save someone from ruining their steam cleaner!! Thanks for the input 👍
Thanks for sharing the review, very helpful, gonna get one for myself, just wondering does the extension hose you used come with the package?
Everything you see in the video was included in my box. But can't hurt to double check before you make the purchase 👍
Can you use this on the interior of a car?
On cloth seats and carpets for sure. Even cupholders and other areas. On leather I would probably try to stay away from
Yes, I do and it works great

How long does it last with one fill?
I have yet to test it with a timer! Maybe I'll do that in the next couple days. It does last a while but the stupid reheating constantly is so annoying
I recorded a test which lasted approximately 22minutes but about half of that was just reheating so actual usable time is about 10 minutes. Hope to upload the video soon. ***edit: video is now uploaded - link in description
Thanks for the review I was about to order one until I watch this. I only have one hand so this specific steamer is out the question
Glad I could help. I'm honestly very conflicted about this unit. It's kind of great but the more I use it, the more I want something better😅
What else is there that’s very better because I agree
I'm looking at the Bissell SpotClean Pro. Seems to have great reviews but is a bit more expensive
@@absolutemalmaute9592 The NEAT Steam Cleaner every time. Bought mine second-hand on eBay as they're a bit pricey new - it honestly knocks this out of the park...
How hot does the steam feel when coming out?
I wouldn't touch it as it will burn you!! But I find it only lasts a very short time before the light comes on and it needs to reheat. If you continue to release steam after the indicator light comes on, the temperature is lower and it will start to leak water through the nozzle as well. I plan on making a video to show exactly how much time it takes before it re-heats and showcase the total time lost due to constantly re-heating. Stay tuned
just put your hand in front and test it
the Bissell Steamshot gets hot. Others are not as hot or have as much pressure. Check the rating before buying.
@@paulna5526 Lmao 🤣 Why would you tell someone too do that?

It's BISS ell. Not Bis SELL.
Noted👍 English is not my first language so every now and then my pronunciation will be off 😅
I just got mine & love it!!
Awesome 👍 they're great for small projects but I really want to get a bigger one for carpets and upholstery cleaning
Thank you for posting this.
I'm glad you found it valuable 🙂
Thank you
Glad you liked it😊
Are the tools you used included in the box?
The attachments all came with the steamer
use the steamer to clean your sink...................how can i trust if your home is dirty?
Haha ouch! That's my basement workshop sink but fair point it needs a cleaning 😅
Amazing!!! Thanks 😊
You're welcome 🙂
How much did you buy it for?
Walmart sells it for around $29 currently
I actually borrowed this one from my sibling to try it out. I'm eying up the Bissell spot clean pro but still going through reviews and hoping for a sale
I wonder if it would work to clean the inside of my car
@@kellyali5286 I have used it to clean the carpets in my car and it works. For the price it's not bad just that it needs to reheat constantly which is annoying
I just bought mine for $27 at Walmart.
