OMG. This was the most difficult orienteering race I have ever participated in. The organizers informed before the race that it would be difficult, but this was super challenging, but loved it, more orienteering like this.
The Linnasmäki Collage is a folk high school in Turku. The building is sort of two-parted with one higher rise part 'to the right' and one lower and wider part to the left. For me the biggest problem was that I didn't learn the staircases (which is open and which is not), the placing of the basements and the closed doors and one-way corridors until after turning the map for the second round. Either I couldn't find the way or just tried something that didn't work. Biggest mistakes (compared to the other runners) on controls 13, 14 and 19. Towards the end it went much better.
