Where are the likes of these people now in our society? Truth has eluded our society. Wonderful !. Projects started and completed at the speculated time without infringement. We are now in money laundering generation. A BIG RISK TO DEVELOPMENT.

Few of the structures constructed in this era, especially by the government of Gov. Mobolaji Johnson of Lagos State, has been fraudulently taken over by Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State. These include the Falomo Shopping Mall in Ikoyi and highrise School of Nursing building in Ikoyi. Tinubu son, I learn, converted the Falomo property to his horse stables. The Falomo shopping mall was the first shopping mall in Nigeria.

Still wondering where those multi-stories building in Olowogbowo was/is located. I know the area very well and can't remember seeing multiple buildings as this. I lived in a different neighborhood on the Island but had (former) classmates and friends who are from Olowogbowo till date. So, it's an area I used to visit a lot between 80s and 90s. In fact, I am sharing this video with a friend born in the early 70s in Olowogbowo.

When an Oba is not imposed, the land prosper and there will be peace. We can compare this to the current Oba of Lagos. It's said in the video that the Oba during the coronation is dressed as a commoner like his people so that he will know he is one and a part of them. But we see what can happen when an Oba build a wall around himself like the current one who coincidentally was chased off his palace during last skirmish that happened after the EndSARS protest was forcefully put down by the government.

Have you considered showing this docu at I-Rep Documentary Festival or one of their monthly/periodic shows? This coverage of not just the technical aspects of the bridge construction but also the social and environmental planning will be good showing to contemporary built-up environment professionals. Also, the historic aspect should interest those who are following the development and expansion of Lagos. Do consider it.

Great historical about the 2nd Mainland Bridge, Eko Bridge and the relocation of the whole Olowogbowo community from Lagos Island to Surulere (New Lagos) . Also explains how Julius Berger came to Nigeria in 1965. Nice one. The bridge is now 48 years old. How well has it been managed and maintained
