Du fährst defensiv, das ist gut! Immer schön Abstand halten 😊 Aber lerne Rev matching und Trail braking. Ab dem 3. Gang aufwärts kannst du auch ohne Kupplung hoch schalten, einfach Gas weg. Runter nicht. Gute Fahrt 😊

LV and Yoshi are the best sounding exhausts you can get for the SV650
Haven't heard the Yoshi in real life yet, but the LV is sick!
When you're blipping the throttle while downshifting, you don't appear to be letting the clutch out. The point of blipping is matching the engine speed to the wheel speed in the lower gear for smooth engagement when you let the clutch out.

Your shifting has got better since your videos from a year ago. Still want to get a little snappier with upshifts. Not sure if you've realized it, but you don't actually need to pull the clutch lever in all the way. Just bop it and shift.

Thank you. I can only recommend the exhaust. The DB Killer is always installed and I would not take it out, because then I'd lose insurance cover. So I don't know if you could remove it.

I get about 20-25km/l average use. I don't know about highways specifically.

Hallo ,da ich mir grade eine SV 650 gekauft habe, sie aber noch nicht in meiner Garage steht, hab ich mir , um die Zeit zu verkürzen das Video angesehen , Dabei ist mir aufgefallen das ich ganz in der nähe Wohne, dass hat mir noch mehr Lust aufs Motorrad , gemacht weil es einfach schön ist hier in unserer Ecke zu fahren . Die Eifel in der nähe ;) Der Sound der Maschine ist was besonderes . Tolles Video

Must be northern latitudes. Sun low in the sky and long shadows. Like my April or Oct. evening rides at just under 47 degrees north. Ride safe! Always wanted to ride Europe. Still a dream. Shuttle through the chunnel etc.

Yes the original bar end weights have to be removed. You could also get a mirror that is clamped and tightened to the bar end weights.

Yo mate how is the character of the engine, does the motorcycle have soul? I torn between sound of sv650 and the looks of z650rs.
Strictly talking about the engine character there is no comparison between those 2. SV will give you that true V-twin sound, vibration, torque down low, and elasticity and also relaiability. Choose the z650rs only if you really like the looks of that bike way more then the SV. Otherwise is SV all day long.
SV has full power or is it locked to 35kw?

i watched this right after the sabasburg hessen right. you have improved alot! Alot smoother on the controls, and seem more relaxed overall. besides the narrow roads and the round mirrors, it is like watching myself. Well you have a bit more experience (and restraint haha), July will be my 1 year riding the 08' sv. Awesome experience for a first time rider.

you should pull the clutch with 2 fingers, so you always maintain control over the steering wheel, and its also easier the the full 4 fingers, nice video, thxs for the ride along, cheers

Thank you! For those summer days I have an ND Filter Set 8/16/32. I leave the color mode in GoPro Color and just use a slight vintage LUT in post.
