To this day, I still can’t believe Pink Diamond is behind the gem war and the guise of Rose Quartz… this was a being who wanted to be accepted, flaws and all. I don’t blame PD for doing what she did… she saw opportunity to free herself and took it, yes it mentally affected those most loyal to her via corruption or mental illness. Had the diamonds not lie to her about how a colony is produced, she would’ve sought other means to feel important. IMO.

The loudest note isn't C#, like in the password. It's G#. She was more powerful than they'd admit.

i kind of interpret Rose becoming Steven as a selfish act of suicide. She left everyone, even Pearl lost and confused, without giving her a clear answer. She wished Pearl or someone had actually shattered her.

Pink Diamond is the most beautiful diamond of all in my opinion.

You can explain and explain, but all of the diamonds deserved to be punished for what they did to their gems. Pink, as Rose, acted so rashly in her fake death they almost lost everyone on earth, regardless of loyalty. White was never punished for giving Pink Diamond such intense PTSD even Steven couldn't be near her. Who knows what she truly put her through. And Blue's mental abuse wasnt much better. Pink cried through him so intensely. Strange that Yellow only makes him angry. How awful that the gem who she hated the least was the least affected by her death. They affected eachother the least.

Pink's chord is low probably bcs it represents her life while on Homeworld. Pink was neglected and was abused by the other Diamonds, which may be why her chord is low. She also faked her shattering, fought her own people, and lost her army.

Pink Diamond. Ultimately one of the most tragic and human characters out of them all. She went from being abused, committing acts of abuse herself, then wanting to atone for it, then creating steven when she thought it was all over.

I think the genius of Pink Diamond is how people will argue over whether she's good or bad based on her actions In other words, she is complex, defying easy categorization. And in that regard, she really was the Diamond most similar to the humans she ended up protecting.

Pink diamond had her flaws but definitely was the best of the worst when it comes to the diamonds.

So many people are hating on Pink. Because she did mistakes, like: •Unintentionally injuring Pink Pearl. -> It was an accident. Of course she demanded a colony of her own to equal her fellow diamonds. They saw Pink as too immature as a ruler, so they denied her a colony at first. Pink disregarded the Great Diamond Athourity, pulled pranks and overall 'acted like a child'. Because she was fairly young at this point. Like a child, she threw temper tantrums with no concerns about what her powers can cause. The other diamonds had to take security measurements that were highly doubtable. In order to protect other gems and Pink herself from the destructive power of her tantrums, they repeatedly gave her 'time outs' by locking her in a dark and quiet tower like some very desperate human parents would do, unfortunately. Pink never had any evil intentions behind her tantrums, she just became so irritated by her not-understanding diamonds that it simple got too much at times. She literally exploded and Pink Pearl just happened to be someone she vented her anger to. Of course it wasn't ok. Pink must've felt like mold at this point for hurting her best friend. Instead of demanding her Pearl back, she let White take care of her, because she also thought that would be the best for her friend and she finally began to think about what she does wrong like any growing child would do. Children aren't evil. They make mistakes to learn and grow from them. Leaving Spinel in her garden. -> Now all alone and thinking about how to make up for her past mistakes, Pink Diamond became much calmer and quieter than before. The other diamonds rewarded this effort with a brand-new Gem: Spinel. Spinel was meant to act as some kind of replacement for Pink Pearl as Pink Diamond was so fond of entertainment and companionship. The Diamonds even gave Pink and Spinel an entire playground with organic plants, that Pink thought of being so pretty. It became known as 'Pink Diamond's Garden'. The two spent many hours playing there. But Pink's wish of an own colony never perished and she became depressed. Spinel tried to make her smile and laugh by acting silly, but it didn't work sometimes. Pink knew that in order to be worthy of a colony, she must act like a true ruler; she had to grow up. The Diamonds took notice of her change in behaviour and let Pink have her first, very own colony. Spinel was excited about these news, thinking of a colony as some sort of a new playground for them instead of serious business. But Pink knew how important this was; this one colony was a test to prove her ability in running a colony. No more childish games. So needed to do something hard; letting go of her friend once more. She thought Spinel wouldn't understand if she explained the whole situation to her. Spinel wouldn't be able to help her with a colony's business. She was created for entertainment purposes. Pink couldn't take her with her. And she didn't want to hurt another gem anymore. So she came up with something very short-sighted. Under the idea of playing a game, Pink left Spinel in her pretty garden. This way, she wouldn't hurt Spinel right in the face by telling her she couldn't come along to earth. But Pink did hurt Spinel. Pink got so caught up in the gem war, she couldn't even leave a thought about the gems she hurt. As Rose Quartz she didn't want to have anything to do with her painfull past as a Diamond. She wanted to move on. She found new friends who only knew her as Rose. She could finally be an equal and 'fit right in'. Rose fell in love with Greg and they both got a baby gem hybrid; Steven, Greg's and Rose's son and <unintentionally> Pink Diamond's heir. Pink Diamond wasn't perfect. So was Rose. So is Steven. So are the gems. So are the humans. So is life. But noone deserves to be hated because of the flaws they may have or the mistakes they may have done. We need to get along with our flaws and improve from our mistakes in order to learn and grow. Like a Diamond💎 🌺 to a Rose🌹.

Honestly I do not like Pink. How the diamonds treated her was unfair, yet she also hurt others. Leaving behind Spin in the garden alone, leaving Steven with her issues that where unsolved, and causing pain among the diamonds, especially Blue, seeing her grief is heartbreaking. She just left behind a trial of hurt, lying to others about who she was, forcing Pearl to go through so much pain. Just.. harsh. You know?

Pink diamond is the only smaller diamond yet childish immature but deep inside she still kind person arrived in earth

If i was a gem, i would probably a gem under the command of Pink Diamond. Now, i don't defend Pink for her mistakes. But think about it, Yellow is filled with rage. Blue's sadness affects the ones around her. White traps you in your own mind. But Pink? She was joyfull and fun. True, she didn't treat some gems like she should have, ( Volleyball and Spinel ) Yet she was still a better ruler compared to the other Diamonds.
