The owners hand book mentions turning the air conditioning on during this prosses. Can any one add to this.

Boils down to reaction time and using premium fuel.Ive seen numbers on some of these testers running bad times consistently and I have a You tube channel and I ask them if they know if the car has premium gas.In cars like the kona N it will retard timing and tou will lose HP.Had a mazda cx 30 turbo--250hp 320 torque on premium and 227 hp on regular and the engine is designed for it.When I got my kona N I am sure it had regular gas and luckily only around 10 miles--after putting premium in it it was way quicker.using regular gas will lower the HP in this to the 250 range which is a loss of 8% or so HP which can add several 10ts of a second onto a 1/4 mile time.

This is insane on a modern vehicle, so old mate is taking his wife to the hospital for the birth of their first child and the Car wants to stop for 25 minutes to have a DPF burn. My mate has one of these and the sales person never told him about this .

My concern is the safety part of this DPF cleaning. When this appears the car looses power if your in the middle of an intersection you can almost creat an accident very dangerous no way of getting out of the way of an on coming vehicles.. It takes 20 minutes to do the clean and it users enough diesel to travel 12 to 15 KM .. Seriously you wouldn't want to be going to an emergency then this comes up...another thing has anyone experienced the FRONT Tyres wearing on the outside....anyone has that problem please let me know

Don't need to do 2 minutes on the vanta. Maybe others are different. Just tap start so accessories screen comes up. Hold down self clean button, when it says start in idle, KEEP FINGER ON SELF CLEAN BUTTON, footnon brake and start it. Revs will go over 2000, aircon on full also lifts revs

If you have troubles showing your car info as it doesn't always appear press a directional key couple times then press ok to bring up menu

Worst test ever!!!

Have had this vehicle since December 2022 now 6 months & this cycle is happening about every 4 weeks… Have followed the video clip & whilst it’s worked every time with the exception of this last time, I’m never ever recommending this vehicle to anyone!

Tried, found out it has to be to a 4 bar temperature to be able to manually burn. otherwise thanks for the tips....
