We have had one of these for as long as I can remember and boy do they come in handy :) My neighbor got a new roof not long ago so I used this in her yard around her house, around where the construction dumpster had been, and her driveway and she couldn't believe how many nails there were lol! Edit Oops... I typed this before hearing you mention your new roof so I'm sorry for just basically repeating what you stated you used it for haha!
