I hate that horizontal dash, it looks impossible to dodge when i watch this. I mean the one with exclamation icons not with red zones of pain.

In the boss checklist I thought it was gonna be way bigger, like, the size of a medium sized world and slowly descending doing trillions of points of contact damage. I never fought it though because this mod has the most confusing boss summon mechanics of any mod and the checklist and wiki were no help last time I played, but every video I see looks so good and makes me wanna come back to it, but I'm not smart enough for it.

this fight is straight up stupid. He heals, dashes, teleports, summons back his minions and summons 8+ clones of himself, every one of his 30 minions shoot lasers, the minions can apply a variety of different debuffs, he himself shoots lasers and he has predictive AI. Perfectly balanced, not to mention the fact that the stats are cranked up unreasonably high too

I think the mechanics of the fight could use some work. The ideas and visual storytelling are phenomenal (I love the idea of a whale fall representing the concept of death, and the countdown phase at the end with the stages of grief is such a cool idea), but the attacks seem somewhat uninteresting and a few of the visuals are really iffy (the mammoth being completely stationary and the wave effect are the biggest outliers.) Still, I'm interested to see where this boss goes in the future :]

The part where you survive 60 seconds is based on the 5 stages of grief when someone is faced with dying at the end of their life: - Resistance/Denial - Fury/Anger - Disputation/Bargaining - Gloom/Depression - Embrace/Acceptance The Last Dance representing making the most of your last moments alive. This fight is a work of art. Very deep. 😮

The final phase literally just being a touhou boss spell card was cool to see. More modded bosses should have bullet hell segments like this
