Lived in Dee Why back in the late 1970's when i was young.

Lived here in the mid to late 1970's; Went to Steward house once, didn't even know it was so close, thats where i met my first girl friend (still remember her name, just 2 week, took alot longer to ''get over'' her), many vivid memories still after 40+ years.

I am so glad I knew Cronulla as it was back in the '60s/'70s and '80s when the Shire was at its best. Cronulla now is so generic and sterile looking (those beach side cafes all look the same), it has no life, no personality of its own ... this is what is called 'progress'.

Alot of memories for me when i stayed there. It was 1994-2000

Wow, silence descends over me. One for the old road: in 1979 ( yup ), i spend a few months in Dee Why Headland road number 1.. , walking down to north Curl Curl learning to surf( never mastered it) and on a bad surfing day, I woud walk to Dee Why Beach. Great memory, I like to do it again, so who wants to swap houses for a long while with Amsterdam. Love to hear from you 🤩🤩😎😎🤗🤗
