I quit my job 3 years ago and It’s the best thing I’ve ever done
I quit my job 3 years ago this month, and it's been the biggest unlock of freedom I've ever had. I will never work a 9-5 again, and that's something that you can achieve too.

I just stumbled across your channel, and you motivated me to finally start mine. I’m 23 this year and I’ve been around TH-cam since 2012. I’ve tried multiple channels on and off from vlogging, gaming, etc. but in all honesty I just lost motivation over the last years once my adult life hit. I have always enjoyed talking and making videos, and I always remember watching channels like this. Your inspired me to just start, this years a fresh year and I have some person goals I’m working towards. I’ve tried many different things, but I really do feel like things and going in the right direction. It just took some time. God bless you man, it’s rare to find genuine youtubers nowadays
You’re so full of shit. $400k liquid my ass.
That is incredible to hear how things have been going for you Biz. Your video appeared in my feed and I really enjoyed the content plus the topic you talked about in the video. Right now I am in a transition so taking it day by day. I do some selling on eBay to help pay for some expenses at the moment. Would there be a way for me to contact you one to one showing you my eBay store? Trying to keep selling items and having that cash flow. Thank You for taking the time to read my comment, appreciate it Biz!
Great vid! Somewhat on track with hitting my goals, recently taken a step back to get my bloodworks done and take it steady. But now back to accelerating my progress best I can. Currently set myself the challenge of posting one vid everyday. Any feedback would be appreciated!
My goal this year is to make 100k off of my algo trading bots with a drawdown of less than 50%
Please have a plan, a thorough plan before you do this. It ain't all fun and you will struggle
Please make a video about how to put processes in place to make businesses run better, if this is something you could help with that would be amazing
What was your company called? How many employees did you have and what was your turnover, expenses? I have started a business for 4 years now and I am skeptical of you now.
What service does your business sell?
Lead generation
Going to the gym right after this so got that going still for the year, just opened my first investing account a few days ago, and I'm continuing to set out things I do on TH-cam. Some days it just doesn't feel like we're doing the things we set out but in reality we are. This is a good check in video, you got this bro!
Sounds like you're crushing it man, heard this on stream too. Love to hear it!
This format is so fire might try it myself🔥
You should man, tag me in the video if you end up making one! Will show support
I am about to graduate college, Mechanical Engineering. Have a full time job lined up ~6 figures when all is said and done (didn't even get an engineering job, got a manager job). I'm honestly looking forward to it but I'm super into bodybuilding and really want to start fitness content/coaching. I feel like the market is so saturated and finding a way to stand out is really hard. Part of me wants the 9-to-5 for the stability but also I feel like I could do so much more. Thanks for the content
You 100% should make content about that man. I regret not pushing my fitness channel harder, its blown up so much these last few yrs and will most likely continue to as well. Go crush it man!
seems easier than it is... i am a failure too in business lol. But at least, this is more enjoyable than trying to find a job since nearly 4 years. I wish i could find those 2k€ per month customers. Just one and i would have enough to live with
You can do it dude
Big fan of the content! My current problem is that I don't really know what I should do or sell for a living. Or how I could find a service / product that I want to create and sell. So I guess i'm struggling with finding my niche and "my thing"
Appreciate it man- this is why its crucial to try stuff too. One of the most important pieces was just trial and error for me. Took a lot of failures to find what worked
Been wanting to quit my job but don’t feel like I really know what to get into.
Could me a million things- just gotta try. Sales, marketing/ paid ads, software dev. Id say start with sales
Definitely digging the stories finally got off my ass and started saving money enjoying and spending less watching your videos.
Lets gooo man- this is why I make these vids. Keep crushing it
I think the big pay days have such a double edged sword. Imo, I'm pretty washed but trying a comeback. The big paydays give you the curse and hope of potential. All of the sudden you realize how much your time is actually worth compared to market rate, and how little is usually paid out accordingly in the 9-to-5. Which then, if things go South and you need an exit strategy or something to bolster salting away earnings, makes you consider things very differently (like only sales gigs.) STILL I find you find this weird spot of doing less, earning more, and having more free time versus doing more and earning less and having less free time. Though regularity and stability are another perk. Dude they're like Ghost Pro. And Entrepreneur is One Man Army. Hahaha.
Just checked out the channel, crazy channel history! I feel you could crush it if you came back full swing. I 100% agree on the end, all about leverage, buying your time back, and earning more overtime
i totally understand about the father story lol
what do you sell exactly? i am in another market, struggling to get customers and when i found some of them i cant sell my precise services because they always want something else. That's very frustrating, how do you want to build a business based on this
Lead gen services. Always go where the demand is, niche services are great, but selling saturated stuff means it works as well
Everytime I see a video, watch it right away. Call it Bizmaxxing. Anyways, another great vid. Can't wait for the next one.
Lolll, true dedication. Appreciate you brotha
gonna show us a sales call of yours so we can see the proof?
I may do that in the future, have a bunch
Ya it is the best feeling in the world. I day trade with prop firms with Apex Trader Funding (20 accounts) with the NASDAQ futures and I've made more than my yearly salary month after month and I'm in my early 20s - It is surreal. Don't get it twisted, trading is hard and has a high failure rate, but it is possible once you understand how to have good risk management, learn how to lose, and have an edge in the markets. I am throwing my earnings into ETFs and aggressively saving for a down payment on a house, I have a paid off car, and still live with my parents - I went from full-time to part-time at my employer so I can focus my energy more towards trading and to keep my parents happy cause they are used to a W2 job that brings "stability and reliability." - If that is the price I have to pay is work part-time to stay with my parents to continue saving - who cares! I am so blessed - life is good and I am scaling my earnings. I like telling people I am a professional at losing money to make more money :) Delayed gratifcation at its finest. They would be fine with me leaving my employer close to June - really makes you question working for people when there is so much money floating around if you teach yourself these hard skills. It is worth it - through the struggles. The second you give up at anything, is when you really fail - just a thought. I used my job to "invest" into teaching myself how to trade and I failed countless times and I was too stubborn to not give up - a blown account, and it always is a learning experience - I was always doing something wrong - using too much size based on the account, overtrading, not following my edge, moving my stop-loss (gets you out for a loss) farther out of my favor making me lose more, cutting my winners short cause I was scared to capitalize on holding them, fighting the trend and losing, chasing a move you missed the best entry to and getting stopped out and it running in profits again, etc.
I’m currently working as a data analyst but I really want to quit 😢
You may be able to freelance that, you'll get there man
Not imply you but a lot of people shit on 9-5 when the reality is it’s the easiest and safest route. I’m financially free but the routine helps with depression. That being said a lot of people won’t like that you don’t need the job but rather want it.
Very very true, I know a good chunk of people that live a really good life, make great money with a 9-5 and just coast. Nothing wrong with it at all for those that want it
I’m in Tech and I do financial services on the side. Part of me wants to hit 500k NW and break even on side business cash flow (profit covering personal expenses) before fully diving in. However, I’m in line for a promotion and my mentor has laid out the red carpet compensation wise. I’m a key player and we’d lose 30% in revenue as a company if I were to go anywhere. Between the comfort, compensation, and the reliance of the company on my position.. I feel stuck. I’m in my 20s as well, and I couldn’t care less about my personal wealth. I just get wrapped up in “taking care of the business” and this deep rooted sense of loyalty toward whatever project I’m focused on
I feel you. Did the exact same thing, and in the end it didn't really serve me well. But it could for you 100%. All depends on the structure
Yo man I love your page! I went ahead and created an Upwork profile but could you maybe make a video on tips on how to land appointment setting roles?
Appreciate it man, I did do a video covering it, but will answer more questions in the next vid for sure!
@@BizPathtechmy apologies, could you tell me the title of the video you talked about it? And sounds good man I’ll be tuned in to future vids 🔥
Just finished my first day at my new job- (have to work for someone else because I live alone) can’t wait for the day I can actually go full force on YT/IG. Doing my best to balance both.
Good stuff man, I know the feeling. You will 100% get there one day
All year I was working on changing my habits but during December I was putting in a lot more work and built a lot more momentum. As of today I was no longer on track. I wasn’t working out anymore, I gained pounds and lost muscle, was not being frugal, ate like shit, and had a terrible sleep schedule. I just lost all motivation and desire to get back on the path. The worst part is that I also lost the pride in myself I gained from putting the work in. It changed today, I worked out, I’m about to cook some healthy meals to no longer eat out, and gonna go to bed at a reasonable time to keep going on the path tomorrow. Thanks BizPath. When you brought up the quote about ppl underestimating the results in 10 yrs and overestimating the results in 1 year it really brought me back and made me realize why I’m doing this.
Glad this resonated brother, keep pushing. Im rooting for you
Biz, I just invested all my capital in S&P and dividend stocks ($150k). As I rebuild my capital do you recommend pursuing a rental property to finalize my portfolio. btw im 23 I have no major bills yet just stacking lol. I am a new barber as income starts around $30k and grows to $60k within 1-2 years. Love the vids boss
Good stuff man, personally I wouldn't just due to real estate being a bit all over the place right now, keep stacking the cash though and DCA'ing what you can
@@FAKEMD, its a LOT of work@@FAKEMD
I currently work for a real estate company so here's my 2 cents. First, real estate is more of a business than an investment, and 'passive' income is a myth. The rental property is not the true asset because it doesn't pay your bills; the tenant does. Also, you will lose money if you have to replace that tenant every year. You ideally need to keep that tenant in the property for years to really make money on your investment. The HUGE thing you need to consider is the high interest rates. To have a property that cash flows a good amount, you need to put a significant amount of money down for the number to make sense (40%,50%,60%, or more). Buying just one rental property is a big headache that isn't worth the hassle. If you don't plan to scale your portfolio to 5-10 houses minimum, it is absolutely not worth the time I would stay away from real estate and invest in a S&P 500 index fund. It's a great return on your money long term without the headache of owning real estate
@ I agree with your assessment but real estate here, particularly the section 8 market is a very profitable landscape here in AZ. They offer vouchers that nearly double all inclusive monthly expenses when closing a 3-bedroom+ property. I have realtors that help with area and property research and make a safe and stable investment. Diversifying in different sectors is the ultimate goal but in timely fashion of course. I appreciate your response!
@ of couse! Also, sounds like you’ve done a lot of research, so I think you'll do very well! Section 8 can be a great investment, just be extra conservative with the maintenance and repair numbers since they tend to be much rougher on the property
I just left my 9-5 job in September and moved to Japan! Currently been living off savings, but the move has been incredibly eye opening. Pursuing creative passions and seeing how I can start to bring money in both online and here and it really feels like I'll be able to do this. Im a photographer/videographer, editor etc... and Im just pushing this year in particularly to see what I can archive! It's such an exciting time!
Wow, this is insane. Good stuff man, I'm rooting for you big time here!
@ Thank you man ❤️
Great video man, love hearing how you were jsut playing COD during work hours, I can’t wait to quit my job
You'll 100% do it this year man- I have a good feeling about it
Taking the skills you use in your 9-to-5 job and freelancing them instead is such a smart way to branch into entrepreneurship. I’ve recently been thinking about the same idea, but it didn’t click until you said it! Great content, keep it coming!!
Thank you brother, glad this resonated with you!
What kind of businesses/ companies use lead generation agencies??
A lot - insurance, financial, mortgage lenders, med spas etc
@@BizPathtech thank you for the quick reply man! This sounds totally doable and would honestly love to learn more. One of the best reasons why I think this business model sounds incredible is because I’m not necessarily starting a new business, I would be helping other already established businesses get more customers (which most businesses want more customers). How can I learn more about how to find these businesses and how to actually find and send them more leads?
Big up Biz ,keep going !
Physical Therapist here. Would love to branch out on my own but there are currently too many barriers (legal and regional) and too much debt to pay off. I need the stability right now
I'm 21 and recently left a job that paid decently for my situation. I couldn’t take it anymore, so I quit for the second time. My dad was my boss, so when I left, I was thrown out of the house. Since then, I’ve been going through a lot of changes. My new job pays very little, though it’s better for my health than the last one. Right now, I’m incredibly stressed about investing. I have a plan I want to follow, but I wish I had started sooner. With my current low income, investing feels like an uphill battle. On top of that, everything in my life feels chaotic. I also want to take a big step and move in with my girlfriend of five years in the next 3-4 months. We’ve been in a long-distance relationship, and it’s been really difficult. I feel like putting my back against the wall and making this move happen, but with everything going on, it’s overwhelming.
Its tough man, have to find a way to increase cash flow, even on the side if necessary. Will take a lot of time in the early days but you can get there
I wanted to comment a 2nd time but in regard to the insane checks you’d get. When I was in Sales, the biggest check I ever got was $7.4k for 2 weeks of work, one of the most incredible feelings ever. Paid my rent and bills twice was so great.
Very very true
Love the passion and transparency. Have a great evening. God bless. Bob.
You too Bob! Appreciate you
I feel I’ve never fit in as an employee. I’ve been off task many times because the job has been so mind numbing I slack off or just barely try. I crave the chaos that running my own business brings, and I’ve had to learn the word no so much from doing so. Definitely bring a whole new level of confidence brother.
Felt that many times for sure! Risky to be on your own, but so well worth it once you get to sustain it
@ I really believe so too man, it’s tough, but so is being broke doing something that doesn’t serve you.
It went from I want to quit to I’m going to quit by October this year and take a risk and move temporarily to bet on sports in az I work in construction but realized I don’t want to be hanging Sheetrock for the rest of my life and as of right now I’ve been profitable in sports betting in Cali for the past year getting banned on apps like fliff I have 30k stacked up (this will keep going up as time goes on) and I’ll be 21 this year so doing sports betting full time will be a big risk this is what I will do
Good luck. Sports betting is usually not profitable long term
Damn I’m not first comment for the third time still got the notification
I worked at a car wash detail center in college. Owner NEVER came in. Only times he did was to get away from his wife it sounded like. On exterior monthly’s alone he making over 80k a month. Really opened my eyes there to what’s possible
Insane numbers- car washes cant print if placed properly
If you have an idea, what would u recommend to someone wanting to start a career in sales or something more high income. I currently work in a supermarket so im capped but i like my job. I just think eventually i need to do something more. Software could be something i look into when ive got lots saved up but im not too sure, i didnt go uni (college ig for usa) but i am capable yk like general knowledge
Get as many reps in as you can (calls), get a commission only sales job on the side or evenings and weekends so you can get practice, and even get paid. Lots of companies looking for this
Id love to quit my job eventually but i wasted so much money the last 4 years so im 21, starting from zero for liquid funds and i plan to follow the frugal advice and invest for a good while until i feel like i can take a risk on my own business
This channel is so goated need more!
Thanks brother, more on the way
