Just drove thru Zuni, New Mexico last week and saw these ovens, two or three of them at almost every house. Now with this video I know how the ovens are used. Next trip I will stop and buy some bread. Looks delicious!

For purists, the horno adds a slight smokey flavor. But I've had bread from the oven that is great. Lard is the secret. Flavorful, but probably not the healthiest.

Im from Ruidoso, and I've been to the Fort many times.. I was there in September of 2023. I saw a ghost, clear as day, in the commanders house.he was wearing the blue pants ans white shirt i later saw in the barracks to be their uniform of the soldiers at the time it was being used as a fort. But it was just my mom, my uncle, and I in the house. I spent the rest of my time there looking for anyone walking thw geounds wearing that color combination of clothing who may have walked in without us noticing. As i left, i checkes every room again and never found another person inside.

Hello. I could not leave a comment on your Mesquite video, since the comment section was turned off. But I learned a lot about mesquite through that video and Mckinney. I am currently in Egypt using what I learned from you on a project to turn the Sahara Desert green. I am recommending one of my large, land owning clients to plant thousands of mesquite (along with many other plants) in order to establish a sustainable egg farm in the desert. This should help bring down the high price of food in this country. So thank you for your videos. They are helping to change the world.
