It is optional in the sense that it is not strictly required for the story, but it is for one of the 3 endings if you want that or the platinum

Hey, from what I am reading, you also need to complete "Wolf at the Gates" mission for this to unlock. That is the only thing I can see it is not visible in the guide (besides starting location in Sago, Kamiagata island)

there is no extra one, it is the one you find as shown at 16:13. If you have used that on something else, then you may have missed one on previous chapters.

Second of all, the guide is not wrong, it has been tested already several times by me and different people. As I said before, if you have not missed the key earlier in this chapter then you must have missed a key in the previous ones.

The guide is wrong cause up to the giant we find and use four small keys, we need a fifth key for the Treasure - Yellow Diamond, that is inside the Church at the end of Chapter 4. I got the challenge that confirms I did not miss anything.

TH-cam is deleting the comments when replying to you, which is making it hard to explain (this is 4th time I'm replying). The guide is wrong cause up to the giant we find and use four small keys, we need a fifth key for the Treasure - Yellow Diamond, that is inside the Church at the end of the Chapter. The key you mentioned was used for the Treasure - Gold Bar, I got the challenge that confirms I did not miss anything.

@@thewokenawoken you nees to take reggies snapshot outside, kn front of loretta. I think that is the ine you are missing. To get him to appear there you need to romance vihn at the en of chapter 3 and when distracting reggie at krampus, select to distract him with homework
