Mine is in the post, I can't wait. Your experience is typical of what most are saying about this bird and on your close-ups (nice) it is apparent to me why. The short moment and relatively high wing loading coupled with twitchy oversize control surfaces and throws (even on lowest setting) and small size and overpower are a recipe for disaster, that said it's not untamable and not to knock your skills I have seen this flown almost scale so it is possible. The manufacturer quickly discontinued this after a spate of damming reviews all with the same complaints but it is such a pity because it really is a work of art aesthetically speaking. I am a life long lover of the Decathlon/Scout/Citabria series and so I could not ignore the appeal, what i will do immediately instead of the original intention of painting her up as a Decathlon in Green Starburst is to rather continue the Scout concept by adding bigger, heavier Tundra style wheels as per the Outback Scout, I will add micro VG's on the wing and experiment with wing fences and if needs be cut flap lines and slightly reflex the flap trailing edges permanently - I will also extend the wings by about 1/2" either side. Important also will be to try to slow the throws on the elevator and rudder and that all should tame her substantially. On the crucial (for me anyways) aesthetics I will carve a foam pilot full body and add in a detailed panel with some cabin detail - hey iof all else fails I will have a gorgeously detailed bird for free flight with a smaller motor and capacitor, I am very familiar with highly detailed rubber powered models so this will become something like that. I'm sorry your experience was so negative and final but also I am sorry if you read through this essay LOL
