Hello, Looks very Nice, thumbs up from me!👍 Greetings Seven
@@SevenWelt thanks Seven. I really enjoyed the video you put out today. Onboard camera is the best.
That’s so cool !!!!
Hello, Very Nice work from you!👍 Greetings Seven🖖
@@SevenWelt thanks Seven. I really like how tiny this rig is so it’s extra fun to work on.
Personally I like Injora tires and wheels great video i subbed 😊I do 1/24 crawlers check it out I really enjoyed your comparison 🤘✌️
@@shawnrichardson118 thanks for your comment. Seeing them side by side really helped me figure out what I want on this thing. I still have some more tests to do before I but another set of Injora. Very happy with them.
@@shawnrichardson118 and I subbed you. Will look forward to seeing what you do
@@ciborg86 thank you 😊
Injora M/Ts did great, but just look at those Black Labels! Sometimes looks over rule performance.
@@MysticRiverRC Black Labels are cool looking tires indeed. Have been running them on my FCX24 Power Wagon. I think they would have got the steep wall without the heavy brass wheels. I’ll remount them and try them again one of these days. I think they deserve another round. Thanks for commenting.
Hello, Great video, was very interesting again!👍 Greetings Seven🖖
Thanks again, good info. Interesting how much exact rock type etc matters. I was surprised how relatively well the stock tires did compared to the Black Labels for you. On my rocks the BL are dramatically better in every way. The Injora Mud Terrains were one of my first upgrade tires a few years ago and I liked them ok but didn’t find the right use for them until I tried them on a much heavier truck. They seem to “bounce” a lot less for me after that. I don’t use brass wheels though. Love the tire tests!
@@user-yi3qu9jg8l I was surprised too, mainly at how the brass wheels seemed to hold the black labels back. I plan to remount them on lighter wheels and try them out again. I’m sure weight of rig makes a big difference too. Thanks for your comment.
@@ciborg86 Would love to see how the BL’s do for you with less weight out of curiosity. Running mine with just Injora alloy wheels on my Ascent 18. The BL’s being super soft might respond differently with less rather than more.
Love this truck!
Great video! Were you using any brass rings?
No brass on any of these. Next video has some brass. Details are in the description.
@ciborg86 Thanks..I've been buying tires n rims lately and wanting to try different...thinking of only putting brass rings on front..what u think? Thanks!....I'll watch the vids!
@@johnlujan8706 I’m with you there. My black labels have brass rims and it just makes the truck feel a bit sluggish. It will handle it, but I think putting rings instead is a good idea. I’ve also just put brass wheels on front with aluminum on back. That’s not a bad combo either. So many variables and great options out there. It’s a great time to be in the hobby.
Good info! I have 5 different sets of Injora tires, two pin and 3 aggressive but just got some LGRP Black Label tires and they are fantastic on my Ascent 18! For rocks they grab well, are soft enough to grab edges but the less aggressive tread has a more predictable traction grab and release than blockier treads. Kinda like the Proline Trenchers(which are way too short for my course), but the Trenchers are very predictable. Just an FYI for another tire to try. Love the Black Labels!
@@user-yi3qu9jg8l yes, the black labels are really good. Watch for next video where I try them out too. Spoiler - they do pretty well. Thanks for commenting.
I think I like the Injora A/Ts the best.
@@MysticRiverRC I do too. Next week has the Injora M/T and they do even better.
👍
Injora’s tire compound is hard to beat.
@@CK4RC yes it is. I’ll be buying more of their tires for sure.
Hello, Very nice Video, was very interesting!👍 Greetings Seven🖖
@@SevenWelt glad you like it. Thanks for your comment.
Like comparing a cherry tomato with an heirloom tomato! Great video format though! Love the in depth discussion etc. Cheers!
@@MysticRiverRC yes, it’s not really close. I just never have two stock rigs at the same time so took the opportunity. Thanks for you comment :)
Fun to drive

Hello, Great video, was very interesting again!👍 Greetings Seven🖖
@@SevenWelt thanks Seven!
Good comparison. The suspension on the ascent is just way smoother.
@@CK4RC it sure is. I bought some Ascent 18 shocks to try on another rig. I might throw them on the FMS and see what happens.
That's amazing. The "ghost car" comparison can't be disputed. I think your on to something there.
@@D.Avis-gh5wq it’s pretty easy to do too as long as I don’t bump the camera :). Thanks for your comment.
@ciborg86 thank you for your time Sir.
Good comparison. As much as I love the Deadbolt, the shocks, tires, and electronics all work in the Redcat's favor.
@@CK4RC agreed.
Hello, Very nice Video, was very interesting!👍 Greetings Seven🖖
@@SevenWelt thanks. It was fun to have a chance to compare two box stock trucks. They don’t stay stock for long.
I recently suggested both of these to a friend. I suggested the Deadbolt or Gladiator (probably chose the gladiator). And the other i suggested was the RedCat. The Axial for the most upgradable, and RedCat for best RTR starter rig.
@@MrsRabbit8 those suggestions were spot on.
Nice...
Looks like I’ll be building some links for it soon.
@ciborg86 looking forward to it. Thanks for your time.
Great rc! 🎶 🎵 what you think os brass wheels?
@@johnlujan8706 thanks for commenting. I’ve run some very heavy brass wheels on a stock rig and it handles it just fine. The added weight slowed it a little on climbs, but stability improvement was worth it. Axles are stronger than 1/24 Axial rigs so I’m not worried about breakage.
I will have some more comparison videos coming up so subscribe if you want to see them :-)

Printers are getting cheaper and better. Design software is free to use. It opens up a lot of options and is a great hobby by itself. Thanks for your comment.

Looking so scale! Right on!
Thanks! I have more scale improvements in the works.
👍
It really looks fantastic! And you have a solid drivetrain in her too. Great work!
Thanks. I do love how it drives.
Can't beat a good send. Fun video!
That's a sick skin! Did you dip it or wrap it?
It’s a wrap. My first ever. This was a good body to learn on as it doesn’t have deep inlays or sharp corners. Also, camo is very forgiving.
Garbage
Thanks. Please subscribe:)
Cool rocks and crawling 😊
I can clearly see that i need a Redcat! So good. The body is really cool. Thanks for the video!
It’s easily my best crawling rig. You won’t be disappointed. I have made quite a few changes to lower the CoG. Most of them are easy to do.
Awsome video!!! Banding the suspension helps with those super steeps and side hills! Very nice driving!
Thanks very much for your comment. I dove head over heels into this hobby last year and am having a blast. I’ll be sure to try some hair bands or something to see how this rig does. It already has the best suspension of any own and I’ve hardly touched it. I enjoy your videos by the way. Thanks for sharing yours with the rest of us.
