I am still converting the van so it’s a bit of both now but hopefully be finished with the build really soon and just enjoying #vanlife

I went to Amsterdam in my campervan with my mountain bike in mid October for a week to chill out and a break from all the Covid madness! This is a video of me riding round the streets showing how deserted it was! I’d only been there a day and a half and the whole city went into full lockdown 😭😂

This was actually a warm down after they’d eaten blood worms for tea they had a full on sprint race then I got my camera to film and they were still going, but weren’t going quite as fast. I’ll try to film them again next time! Really cool fish to keep! SUBSCRIBE!!

If you watch my previous video you can see that the Male is very light in colour with little black patches (the one with no orange) and in this video he is full of colour, really darkened up and is chasing one of his girlfriends like a maniac! Swooping through tiny little gaps and doing circles around her! I think it’s pretty obvious that this is his mating call or showing off his tall fins and...

@@peterpan5295 hahaha yess Pan! I’ve updated my van got a bigger one 🤪 yes I would love to come to Holland I think I’ll defo come this year at some point!! I wanna move there but the authorities don’t like van life, so it’s hard for camping in the van just have to go to campsites and pay 😭😭😂
@TheEAFOS thats true vanlife is difficult here they dont allow sleep on parksides they want you to go to a camping and pay but there are some cheap sides over here i now but it would be amazing to see you here in holland 🙏💯
@ yeh man that’s what I found out! And also the campsites only allow you to stay for like 7 days it’s very weird becasue I want to come for 2 weeks so I have to go to 2 different campsites 🙄🤷🏼♂️ but yeh I really wanna come again this year! Watch some ufc at yours if there is one on at that time hahaah

@ cheers dude, I’ve gone for function over fashion cuz I wanted to utilise all the wide parts of the van so I’ve just done what I can to work around that just kinda made it up as I went along so I’m pleased with how it’s turned out! 🙏🏼

@ hahaha it’s just temporary at the moment it like 4 pieces of ply next to eachother but I did varnish them to make it look like a counter top, you’re right 😂

Use coarse rope for the corners between the walls and the ceiling on top of the mastic to cover it up

I remember seeing your video a few years back when I was on the market for an Elgrand. Thanks to you, I bought very same model as this. I absolutely loved it. Literally sold it yesterday as I wasn’t using it enough. Gutted. Maybe I’ll get another rider sometime in the future. Cheers for the vid mate 😁

I have e53 3.0d and tax now is £730 and insurance about £70 / month with 10 years no claims - quite a lot but its not all about the money for me - I live only once... I do about 550- 600 miles on full tank(90l), what about elgrand - its 3.5 I guess so give me best and worst mpg please. Up in smoke😜

I have a neon like that right now. I feel terrible for the guy. All my other neons died off but him. He swims strange and has been through hell and back. I don’t want to put him in my community corydora tank, but he has been living in a 3gal on his own for 4 months. I honestly forget about feeding him and nothing seems to phase him. He was even in stagnant water for a week and wouldn’t die. Some Neons truly are indestructible 😂

Hi do eney of you guys know what reader I need mine is the v6 the battery went flat charged it started but then engine light came on had 4 different readers plugged in and none of them will read it ?
You need to read it as if it’s a 350z I think mate as some of the readers won’t have the Elgrand on there but the 350z is the same engine and computer system so that how I know my mechanic read some faults on mine!!

Hey dude nah I bought them off eBay some company was making them for lost vans and in all different colours, they’re great but Tbf don’t fit perfectly so I need to adapt them to make it proper stealth or you can see light around the edges! I’m not sure if they’re still on eBay but just type in Elgrand window blinds and see what comes up or I’ll have a look see if I can find them and post a link

Yeh he went for about 6 weeks longer than he should of but he wouldn’t give up so I just left him and fed him a couple granules here and there and let him live out his last days! He didn’t seem to be in any pain 😭🙏🏼

Is the bed comfortable?
I guess it is what you make it! I got a pretty decent self inflating air mattress so it’s really comfy the only issue is that the seats obviously don’t lay completely flat but as you see a couple pillows kinda level it out! I guess the better you pad out those recessed areas the comfier it will be in the long run! But put it this way I am staying with some friends who have luxury spare rooms with massive double beds and I will sleep in my wagon just to be in my own space! 🤷🏼♂️🤪
I have seen Elgrands with the permanent camper conversions with much better beds but I love how versatile it is with out that so I can transform it in to a camper or use it for mountain biking or use all the seats properly and take the whole family out
Wonderful. This might just have convinced me to go with the Elgrand after many months of reviewing options.
It is a really cool vehicle I love it! The only thing I hate is the fuel consumption 😭😂

I got them from a company on eBay they make em for all vans! They’re for insulation but I mostly just got them instead of putting curtains in! They are great but the could definitely fit better there is like a 1cm gap round the edge in places so if I was totally stealth camping I would have to plug that gap or people would see me lit up in there hahaah

Yes, ...tidy unit..mine is the Highway star E51 version so very similar, pu leather 1/2 fabric or was , as pulled most of the seats ..for now...being vegan an important aspect when selecting and or if choosing vehicular transport ...that's using design to the max ...well done ...nice share ...thank u

Nice one Lisa I’d love to see yours! I love the fully kitted out conversions aswell but I love that I can use mine for everything like taking the mountain bikes out and taking the nephews out using all the seats and then transform it like this to camp!

I got it on eBay! I was just searching for self inflating mattress or air bed or self inflating camping matt! I’ll see if it’s still on there and see if I can post a link! I found some cheaper ones but went with this one which was £75 simply cuz of the bigger size as this was the widest single one I could find!
