Drawing as Discovery: Intro
"Drawing as Discovery: 500 Years of Drawings and Watercolors from MAG’s Permanent Collection" showcases over 100 stellar works selected from the museum’s holdings of over 2,000 drawings. Organized by artistic intent, the exhibition unites work across a breadth of cultures and time periods by the common principle that the very act of drawing is at the heart of artistic creativity. Significant work by well-known artists such as Lesley Dill, Edgar Degas, Georgia O’Keeffe, Francisco Goya, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Kara Walker is displayed alongside drawings by lesser-known or unknown artists whose works are of equally striking quality.

Hell yeah, Andy!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your work. Do you ever teach?
As a person who speaks to Jews about Jesus, Messiah I was struck by Mitzvots -36. NOT TO MISSIONIZE A PERSON TO IDOL WORSHIP. (Deuteronomy 13:12) 37. NOT TO LOVE THE MISSIONARY. (Deuteronomy 13:9) 38. NOT TO STOP HATING HIM. (Deuteronomy 13:9) 39. NOT TO SAVE HIM. (Deuteronomy 13:9) 40. NOT TO SPEAK IN HIS DEFENSE. (Deuteronomy 13:9) 41. NOT TO REFRAIN FROM INCRIMINATING HIM. (Deuteronomy 13:9) Yet you say I am welcome?
screw off with your ads
I’m wondering where you get those little registration clips I’ve never seen them

Last week I ordered a copy of The 613. And I just finished reading through all of the scriptures. And it amazes me because so many people say that it's impossible to keep all of the laws. But the majority of the Laws apply only to the priests, while others only apply to judges, farmers, married, lepers, animals, servants, foreigners, men, women, and about 40% apply to everyone. They were all common sense, so if you love God with all tour heart, mind, strength and soul, they are actually easier than the New Testament.
Hello there Eddie!! Love the video. I was just browsing the MAG site. We went to RIT together...don't know if you remember, but I smile just thinking of times there.
I would love to see the 613 (614) paintings! I'm in Southern California.
I bought a book that shows all of the paintings, I have yet to devour the accompanying Scriptures that go along with the images. Maybe someday when the internet gets shut off!
What about white history month
This video is titled incorrectly. It's about the ELC program, not An Artists" Affair
Wow...mind blowing 🤯

Fabulous look at this Rockwell painting. Thank you!

Wonderful to see this painting once more!! Many years ago I would sit there in Fountain Court and gaze at this Waterloo Bridge painting. Am very grateful to MAG for this way of visiting now, though from afar. VCS

Absolutely beautiful! Judith is a extremely talented artist. To have the image in mind and to create it on that level is more than a craft even though it is. It is truly art on the highest level. Thank you for your gift. Most of us do not dedicate our time to make our dreams come true

Great to see you, Susan!
Nice to hear from you Rome!
BEAUTEFUL!!!!
Bravo! Scott is THE way of beautiful.
The 28 portraits looks beautiful and are a great addition to the artistic fabric of our community!
I started stained glass recently, and have found my niche. I've done woodworking, knife making, leather working, welding, oil painting, wood carving, and none hit the spot like stained glass.
Hello, I have a questions concerning Warhol prints that are sold in the retail market. I have been collecting Steve Kaufman prints for several years and have decided to try to get into Warhol but his originals are far beyond my budget. I have recently become aware of some auction houses that are selling limited edition Warhol silk screen prints from Sunday B Morning. Does anyone have any information about the reliability, collectibility and value of the Sunday B Morning prints? Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. My best, Sam Cianfarano M. Ed. (‘76)
This was an AMAZING program!!! Thank you Rachel DeGuzman for gathering and uplifting this powerful cohort of Black artists in Rochester, especially in conjunction with MAG while evoking Andy Warhol!! I took so much out of this (and part two of this) conversation.
the hard work, the talent, the originality
"The Path to Paradise" opens at the museum where I work (Des Moines Art Center) in just two days; I'm excited about it! I think visitors are going to really enjoy the show.
Wow! Enthusiasm that’s inspirational. Beautiful work.
Hi I am trying to learn stained glass work and have had some satisfying results (very modest ones) and a lot more dismal failures.I understand what you were talking about on how the glass colours lift your spirit in some inexplicable way.I have so many time restraints in my life but I could quite easily become obsessive with it. Thank you for posting this.I think you work is sublime. Technically great and artistically inspirational. Thanks
Oh, to have your talent! What beautiful artwork you create!
I’m a beginner stained glass artist and I totally understand that feeling of “knowing” that glass is for you! It’s such an unbelievably beautiful medium filled with so much possibility. Your art is beautiful, thought provoking, and inspirational!
Art is like shit... everyone makes it and it's very rare to find an interesting piece of it! Most interesting pieces are also concerning. 👌
