Hammy 490 North Burnett P3 Tenere Adventure
Day three of the adventure ride in the North Burnett region of Queensland, Australia. Today Phil and I make our way from Mungungo to Kroombit Tops National Park, with the aim to keep off the bitumen as much as possible. At day's end we set up camp and enjoy the serenity of the bush and wildlife.

Day 2 of our North Burnett adventure ride. Phil on a Suzuki DE800 and I on my Tenere World Raid ride from Wuruma Dam finding dirt roads and abandoned railway tunnels as we make our way to Kalpowar and Mungungo.

Day 1 of four days exploring the North Burnett region of Queensland. A mate and I ride asphalt highways, unsealed roads, old train line tunnels, fire trails and dirt tracks with washed out creek crossings. What an adventure.

While my Tenere is off the road getting a rim replaced, I take a couple of hours walking the bush where I enjoying making myself a brew while soaking up the ambience.

Day 2 of our ride into Goodedulla National Park exploring the remote and rugged country that was once a cattle station. We push through lantana infested creek lines and overgrown boundary tracks but soak the awesome views from high ridgelines and the rugged beauty and solitude of the bush.

In part 1 of 2, three Yamaha Tenere T700 riders explore a remote national park in Central Queensland. The ride covers open cattle station dirt roads and tracks, before entering the national park where a myriad of bush tracks are ridden. JD returns home as planned on day one, while Gav and I on our World Raid's camp the night and do some more exploring on day two.

You look comfortable on the T7 Hammy. I’d love one but the weight frightens me. I can see the Nelson Rigg panniers……..any good?
Thanks Dave. It rides really well for its build and capability. I’ve had to pick it up twice and yes it is heavy. The Nelson Rigg bags are a bit disappointing as on my first ride they tore from the weight where the straps are stitched onto the bags. I’ve made up extra straps to take weight and that’s solved the issue.

Great place been a couple years now. We're going back again in August. Kings Dam is a great camp spot Good to see some of the roads have been graded

The loop track out is bloody crap if you don’t pick your lines right, wouldn’t recommend a big bike do it without a lot of skill. Good vid mate👌

Nice. I just checked out the specs of that beast and it is a nice 35kg lighter than mine, but still heavier than that nice 700 on the way.

I've had to step off my NX650 in similar situation. Was an awesome bike for the around NSW border run and then cape york but, when you venture off the main and are in first it's a pretty big lump of steel. Cheers that's a good run. Loved the grab some sausages cook up.
Yes indeed, with a full tank on the ole Tenere she’s nudging 230kg I reckon.
