Making disciples of Jesus Christ through gospel proclamation and community presence.
We’re a community of faith spreading through underserved parts of the valley. We gather in two ways: in smaller communities during the week to learn, serve, practice, and fellowship, and together with the larger, corporate community on Sundays at our missions for corporate singing, biblical exhortation, and communion.

Can I microwave on the Sabbath!? Please someone tell me.
No, you cannot! Kidding, the entire sermon is now uploaded!
NGL, crazy cliff hanger in this one. 😮
Our apologizes! The entires sermon is now uploaded for you to listen to!
Amen
James chapter 2 REFUTES "Faith Alone". 2 Timothy 3:16 does NOT mention nor is it about "Scripture Alone".
It is impossible to KNOW FOR ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that something is of God and not of Satan. So that condition is never fulfilled, and this blasphemy cannot be committed. Pharisees and "the experts" are the last people on earth who would know anything for sure. Did you trust your doctor over the years from 2020-2024? Do you still trust the experts? Especially religious "experts" and preachers who pretend to know what they are saying. But more importantly, that the verbalization that Satan is doing something that we "know" is being done by the HS should be unforgivable and damn a person to everlasting torture is an absurdity that people who have balanced faculties reject. There is nothing of God or Spirit or Love in such an arbitrary qualification.
Thanks for the challenge of positive words. Will be challenging the family to eliminate the negative and only say the positive
So to be clear. Is the faith that is dead without works the faith of salvation?
Hi Mark, You asked: "So to be clear. Is the faith that is dead without works the faith of salvation?" We would answer, "no." Dead faith, being without works, cannot save; it is not the "faith of salvation." The faith that lays hold of Christ for salvation is a living faith. This faith, being alive, will issue forth in good works. James is clear in 2:14 that dead faith cannot save. We hope that helps bring clarity. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
Thank you!! I wish more pastors would first of all preach this and then second of all explain it for people to understand! A lot of great information! He talks really fast, don't miss anything. Slow the playback speed or watch twice!! ;)
God has called us to faithfulness. He will exalt us in His due time. Great reminder and great thought for the day. Good job Richard. Thanks
Amazing. Thank you.
Spoken word #1: I’m in the garden, of Gethsemane Trying to pray, fight off the enemy Peter, I need you. Stay awake Son of Jonah, you’re afraid Same goes for John and James Roman soldiers on the way Listen close, you hear it faint they about to take me away Why do you run from me? Why you deny you’re involved with me? One of the 12 disciples, well at least you were supposed to be Supposed to be walking on water, don’t look at your feet You wanna glorify the father, learn to have faith and focus on me Peter, when you gon’ get it ? Do I have to translate every message ? Just to get half way, til you fall asleep Oh you tired now, are you finished ? I know that you love me, but 3 times you’ll deny me 3 times you’re deciding You never knew me, but you’re lying I knew how you would react of course I accounted for that, I made you a fisher of men I chose you, even though you’re a mess This ain’t normal sermon, this story has one purpose You come to know the Son I call you good and faithful servant Let me finish with this You wanna know how I forgive ? My son will die on the cross And in three days imma resurrect him A perfect sacrifice, the perfect lamb of God The only way to make that happen is through him to die
Spoken word #2: Good evening rabbi, Don’t think you understand the mountains that I, Have had to climb To the belief that you’re God You’re either him or you’re not You really are the messiah or just a flat out lie I’m one of the 12, and hate to do this but You know my know name, it rhymes with foolish I’m getting paid to turn it and I’m shoeless Need me a pair of sandals, And the king of the Jews- is you? I don’t know about that, I know you’ll be out in the garden later on around 10 It might smart to bring a couple of your friends around then So they can you pray for you, I mean I don’t believe it, but you’ll need it I guess Teacher, teacher. Notice I ain’t calling him Lord… that was on purpose.. yall shouldn’t either My name is Judas, I’m human, but not a believer 30 silvers coin layer, im a sell out, a cheater And here’s the crazy thing. You’re all like me We betray him everyday, i don’t know how yall sleep 10 commandments, dawg you already you broke 9 this week Just being honest, you and I been acting similarly This room contains a lot sin, lotta adultery You sleep with anyone you want so don’t criticize me I hold my tongue, What’s your excuse to cuss and lie through your teeth ? you have the Holy Spirit?, it don’t look like it to me if I could go back and change it, I would But I don’t have that luxury ‘cuz I’m dead, but you not Some people say he just a prophet, those people were wrong He was exactly who he says is, he’s God
Awesome video

Great sermon. Very conviciting and encouraging!
What an awful approach to addressing homosexuality. Going to a marriage ceremony that perverts God's standard of what "one flesh" means is an abomination and participating in that ceremony would be idolatry. Being attracted to the same sex is UNNATURAL. Saying it's not a sin and it's not wrong to have these feelings marks you as a pastor everyone should avoid. Grace alone saves, but if there's no fruit in your life, which is ALWAYS evident in true believers, and your mind is set on fleshly desires, chances are you're not saved and you've deceived yourself. Leviticus 18:22 is not confusing, read the text. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, read the text. You didn't read Romans 1:20 in its entirety at the 9:00 minute mark so allow me to provide context: "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." We treat everyone as image bearers of God and the standard we apply to them, we also apply to ourselves. They do not get a pass for being unbelievers, they are under Judgment, while we are under Grace.
It is also unnatural to have cancer, does that make having cancer a sin? A huge amount of people who are same sex attracted were molested or raped as children and their same sex attraction is a symptom of how their brain is trying to deal with the trauma. Children who are very badly abused (kept in cages, beaten, starved, etc) often even think of themselves as animals because they've been treated like animals and their brain is trying to protect them from their reality. Christians who are same sex attracted but not engaging in that attraction are actively struggling against it every single day, they are not giving into it. If they didn't feel bad about those feelings and try to turn away from them, I would question their faith, but we're talking about people who are living a Christian life but just happen to prefer the same sex. Like, if you prefer the flavour of chocolate to vanilla, you can't just change your preference. You could lie and say that you prefer vanilla. You could only eat vanilla for the rest of your life. You could not only stop eating chocolate, but stop going to places that sell it or watching tv shows or reading books about it, but that doesn't change your preference and doesn't stop you from wanting it. If you stay away from chocolate, you won't be tempted as much, but that doesn't mean that you won't like it anymore. Being attracted to the same sex is a temptation. Your temptations are not sins unless you give into them (fantisizing about giving into them would be a sin). You might be tempted to drink to excess, but if you have one glass of wine and don't get drunk, you have not sinned. You might be tempted to over indulge in ice cream, but if you stop yourself at one serving and don't give into gluttony, you have not sinned. You may be in desperate need of food or clothing and be tempted to steal, but if you don't steal, you have not sinned. Temptation IS NOT SIN. If it was, then Jesus would have sinned as Satan tempted him in the desert for 40 days. You turn away from the temptation and turn towards God. That doesn't mean that the temptation is gone. Everyone has temptations every day to do things that they shouldn't do. Maybe you have the temptation to yell at your kids when you're angry, or to share someone else's secret (gossip), or look at pornography... but if you don't give in, you are not committing the sin. You can not control what thoughts go through your head, you can only choose what you will do with those thoughts.
We do treat everyone as image bearers of God because they are, but not everyone is a Christian, so we don't treat them all as Christians. If someone has committed their life to Christ, they are expected to live that out. But if someone is an atheist or follows a different religion, you can not expect them to follow biblical principles because they don't believe in them. You have to guide them to Christ first and Christ needs to change them. THEN they are expected to try to live by God's standards (which we all fall short of on a daily basis). They don't have the Holy Spirit to guide them, so they don't feel convicted. You can't expect them to feel convicted before they have the Spirit to convict them. I'm not saying that they are not under judgment, they definitely are, but it makes no sense to point out how they are breaking "God's rules" if they don't even believe in God. If someone told you that you had to leave a glass of milk and cookies out on Christmas eve if you want Santa to bring you presents, would you do it? What if they truly believed that you would get presents from Santa if you left him milk and cookies... then would you do it? Why not? Maybe because you don't believe in Santa... Maybe because, even if Santa were real, the idea of a strange man coming into your house in the middle of the night creeps you out... In the end, if you just think the whole thing is a marketing campaign to get you to buy cookies and presents, why would you do it? That's how many nonbelievers think about Christianity. You can not get them to strive to be Christ like without encountering Christ first. If you are one of those people who go to heavy metal concerts holding up signs that say "You're all going to Hell", you are in no way going to convince those people of the love of Christ. You are going to do a great job of pushing them away though. They're going to build up huge barriers to make sure that God can't get in. That's not the example Jesus sets. He eats with the sinners. He befriends them and then leads them to the truth through his actions. With the religious leaders, no the other hand, he turned over their money tables. Why? Because they should know better. So we should be showing Christ's love through the way we live. And we should be holding other believers accountable. If someone chooses not to follow Christ, that is ultimately their choice. That is why God gave us free will. We can't force it on someone or it's not sincere.
So if someone has been molested and struggles with same sex attraction what do they do?
@@Samson55 Repentance
This is a good sermon. 30:14 this is where modern churches get it a bit wrong. They welcome the unbeliver but don't call them into anything deeper after they become believers.
🔥
Jesus. Jesus is. Jesus is Him.....He's God. HE IS.
I get it. I get it.
I "hear" this. I "hear" it.

Yes
Why is mass-murder forgivable by your god, but simply not being convinced of his existence due to the complete lack of evidence he gives us unforgivable?
Why does your bible say that rape victims have to marry their rapists?
parable = Doctrine of election???? Kind of the opposite no? I mean why would he need to speak in a way that people would not understand under election when election says unless one is made born again they would not be able to hear anyway, because under the doctrine of election they are dead and the dead cannot hear apart from a miracle So if the doctrine of election as it were taught were true Parables would be completely unnecessary I mean assuming we are talking about the Calvinist view of election, Because as we know true election is biblical even the parable of the seeds you mention also completely refute the Calvinist view of election as well
One of the clearest explanations I’ve ever heard
This was one of the best messages I’ve heard especially on John the Baptist
What is the name of the book that is referenced?

Who is this speaker preaching on Hosea
This is Sean Myers. He is pella communities' teaching and vision pastor.
John 1:13
I know this sounds bad. But, I'm glad I didn't go to this service, or else you would have heard me weeping loudly at some point on the audio. Lol.
“Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:10-11
The first few minutes of this intro is such an important preface that is often easy to forget when having these conversations. So appreciated it.
Wow that sermon was incredible! Thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it! If you are from the Phoenix area or ever visit we'd love for you to come say hi!
