Do you have any suggestion for hiring teacher here in Riyadh? Thanks
Hi Mary. Could you please clarify? Are you looking for teachers for your school or are you looking for a teaching job?
Which city has more IT jobs? Also which city has better weather
Riyadh has better weather compared to Jeddah. Riyadh is dry, hot and gets cold in winter. Jeddah is very humid and hot all year round. Riyadh has more job opportunities. Hope this helps.
I live in Saudi Arabia give me 500K riyals & I'll leave in a heartbeat. Nothing here saudis cares nothing about foreign workers
Where would you rather be?
@@thexpateacher In freer places
@@Movingforward2000 what do you mean by freer?

Haloo This is soo informative And can you please let me know the details of schools in ksa especially dammam,al khobar…and also those following british and ib curriculum
Thank you so much. For that you'll have to Google. I don't have a list of all those schools. Once you get the info, please share it here as well.
@@thexpateacher Well thats too confusing,,i have googled a lot and cant find a better one as the reviews are something to think about..as a teacher it cud be helpful if you can give ur suggestion regarding this
I'm in Riyadh, not Dammam and Khobar, so I don't know the schools that side. I'll try to find a list of IB schools.
I will be moving soon to KSA for work sir.
Nice! All the best.
If some one doesn't have good experience in job they will stay in desert for ever like a slave watch goat movie it's true story
This is a weird comment. Please explain.
In your video, I can see the place where I live😎First building as soon as you start info about housing! I have been living in Riyadh for the last 15 years, great place to live with your family even though it has become very expensive in the last few years. Great video bro, keep it up!🤛
Haha really? Thanks for your comment and kind words. I agree that it has become very expensive compared to when we just arrived. I'll need to come interview you bro.
Tnx brother you really help us who is currently new in Saudi Arabia. Plss dont be tired of making informative content videos. Thank you again.

Hello Tariq, I have a question if you answer I would be happy. Are there some companies that does not require Arabic language? I do not know Arabic only English. Can I find a job there? Or knowing Arabic is obligation there at work? Thanks in advance!
Hi. Arabic is not a requirement for many jobs. I don't speak Arabic and I've been here for almost 10 years.
@@thexpateacher Where are you from? The impression l get of saudi as a european is the total lack of accountability from the saudi government. This is a fact & it sucks

Shukran bro. Maaf who is this? 😅

Bro.. just send the money already 😁🤣
Brother is 24,000 SAR a month a good salary?
That depends on your situation and the package. Your lifestyle too. You can live comfortably on that. Does it include your housing? Are you single? Etc
Brother, I have subscribed to your channel, after watching this first video as I want to learn about KSA. The main reason is because my cousin moved there and I’m planning to continue working and relocate for better life style and future. Is there a way to contact you to get some specific detail’s? Can I get your email address?
Thank you brother. You can find me on Instagram and my email is: typicaltariq@gmail.com
Hello Tariq, many thanks for you vidéo! What about french people please ?
Hi. Thank you for your comment. Yes, many schools teach French.
we are living in KSA. in my opinion I think food is more expensive compared to Barhain. And petrol in Barhain is very cheap compared to Saudi.
I think these prices have jumped in the last year. Even accommodation.
@@elliescottish What 'food' is there in Riyadh? Halal food sucks same 💩all time.
So cook your own food then
Is it easy for people who don't speak Arabic? What about utility services, and emergency services is there an English option
Thank you for your comment. I don't speak Arabic and get along just fine. The Kingdom really upped its English game. More and more people speak English. Most businesses have an English speaking person to help you. What do you mean by emergency services? I pay my utilities online via my bank. Everything is linked. Easy.
@@thexpateacherI think they mean hospitals, ambulances, fire brigades etc.
@@Amal0122 ok I see. When you call them, they have English and Arabic options. Prese 2 for English. They have English speaking agents yes.
I have a qualification and im already living in riyadh ... but no official experience . I also got my PGCE about 13 years ago ... i would like to do a tefl course but i would prefer in person not online .... princess noura is offereing a course but its quite a distance from where i live ... any advice ?
Hi. You should apply to jobs whether you have experience or not. Also, you could try British Council for Tefl or CELTA

Hi Tariq, new subscriber here from SA How are the learners there? How is their behaviour? I would really like to know if you have any discipline issues.
Hi Andile There's no perfect place to teach. Learners give issues everywhere I guess. But it's definitely easier compared to learners in South African schools in my opinion.

Hi ... What i have to do if the newly car loan (bank finance) had an accident? The insurance company towed the car and the car is already with them. So from my side, what do I have to do? I will wait until the repair is done? Or will I make any requests? Or will the bank be the one to coordinate with the insurance? Thanks in advance for your answer.
Coordinate with your bank and find out from them

Informative video, I appreciate! I wanted to ask if we go with a CELTA certification, then will the process of getting jobs be easier in S.A ? As compared to applying for jobs without having any prior teaching certification?

Hi Tariq, Moving to teach in Riyadh this August. The video really helped. Are there any etiquette rules to look out for? In terms of greeting people etc? Also, I am hugely invested in sport. In the Uk playing, football, golf and padel both weekly and competitively. Is this something that I would be able to continue?
Hi Riley. Thanks for the compliment. I think for men the biggest thing is to not flirt with ladies. Also dress appropriately and be keen on learning their culture. Saudi people are very friendly and hospitable. Greet everyone smile. Also, don't refuse tea/coffee or invitations. Perhaps I should make a video on this. With regards to the sport...i play footy, I know many who play golf and paddle. You can continue. I hope this helps. All the best

Brother I m looking to move from Canada do we have any edge moving from canada and finding job there?
If you have a Canadian Passport, it's a bit easier yes. The same for US, UK, Australian etc
My car was parked when it was hit by another party. They admitted fault by contacting Najm and informing them that the mistake was theirs. Now, I have to go to Taqdeer for a report. My car is bank leased and insured by Tawuniya. I also received a message from Tawuniya asking me to submit a claim. My question is, since Tawuniya is my insurer, but the other party was 100% at fault, why should I submit a report to Tawuniya? Logically speaking, the other party's insurance company should be responsible for repairing my car. Can you please provide some guidance on this matter?
I think Tawuniya just wants you to submit a claim as part of the process of getting your car repaired. These are just the steps you have to follow. This doesn't mean that they're saying you are at fault. Hope this helps.
@@thexpateacher Thanks 🙏
Brother, on the taqdeer assessment report, you can find the other party's insurance company name, you can go to its website and claim. But if your insurance plan is comprehensive, even if the liability is 100 percent theirs you must go through your insurance only.
