Her voice is wonderful and has plenty of power. This opera so a lot emotion needs to be expressed in the voice and this needs a bit more drama, in my opinion. Any criticism here is certain not to condemn. That said I would love to hear her in person - really reaches her audiences I think. Her story is so inspiring.

Paso de ser políticamente correcto. Las negras suelen tener un instrumento vocal superior, por ejemplo Jessye Norman, mi preferida. Increible esta chica y aún le queda madurar a su voz.

Beautiful, God bless her teachers and vocal coaches. I'd love to hear her sing "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" from Sweeney Todd. She transitions elegantly from classical repertoire to popular if her rendition of the Bernstein/Sondheim "I Feel pretty" is any example. A rare gift, she's another Stephanie Blythe.
