Mehn I actually teared up as well. FINALLY the Superman we know is back. My childhood jumped in me again. This is the Superman we grew up to know.

Immediately brought me back to the Donner Superman movies. I was tearing up. Gunn knows how to do emotion. If you didn't cry in any of the Guardians movies or holiday special, you don't have any feelings.

Everyone crying in their feels over this trailer because we need this, we need hope. We’ve been through a lot this year and 2025 is looking like a looming dark shadow. Superman represents an out for those of us who feel that way.

When the music started, I cried, and when the flag was raised, I cried. If the trailer holds true, it looks like Gunn put the HOPE back in Superman. I grew up with Christopher Reeves's Superman, and if this trailer is any indication, Christopher Reeves would be proud. I am sorry about your job, but I hope you had a good birthday despite that.

as a 47 year old, Christopher Reeves will always be "my" Superman but them playing the theme music, I cried and I'm ready for this version and hoping they pull this off because this made me feel like a kid again , they took me on a rollercoaster from start to finish on this trailer. from sadness to hope and ended with awww. they did the damn thing!!!

My only complaint is the suit. So far, it still looks terrible. It would have been best served if they would have kept an original design

We all cried. Superman has always represented HOPE for humanity. I was thinking of my dad who I lost and introduced me to Reeves Superman. I love the Snyder Superman also, you have to remember he and JL were about to go to battle v Darkseid. I love all the angles of Superman, angry and powerful but also the humble Superman equally. Can’t wait , the best superhero ever.

I can't tell you how many times I've teared up watching this trailer. The music, the characters, the everything. This is everything we need right now. Also, the guy with the grey face that you weren't sure of is Metamorpho. I wasn't sure who that was at first either because I thought Metamorpho had a half and half face, but that's just his torso.

trailer hits hard

The first movie I remember my father taking me to see was Superman: The Movie in 1978 and to this day it remains my all-time favorite superhero film. I turned 50 in May and we got the new teaser for Superman and it absolutely delivered. I'm still not completely sold on the outfits, but it's slowly growing on me. I think Krypto is gonna be the star of the movie!
