1/5/2025 SNF season finale at Ford Field
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings receiver, gets all cocky about being the best and being unguardable by anyone on the Lions or the NFL. He then shows off his Oakley shades to Maria Taylor, who is absolutely giddy to be with Justin (Maria Taylor would then predict the Vikings to win the game), and brags about his swag. Then the Detroit Lions and cornerback Amik Robertson completely shut Jefferson down and made his contributions absolutely negligible, on the way to thrashing the Vikings to a score of 31-9, courtesy of four (4) touchdowns from Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs. The Lions ended with the #1 seed in the NFC conference, the NFC North division title, and a playoff bye week, relegating the Vikings to the #5 NFC seed and an elimination by the LA Rams in the following week's Wild Card round (Rams won 27-9), where Jefferson was once again shut down with essentially zero impact on the game.
