----------------------------------------
Nestled in the quaint village of Sidari on the northern coast of Corfu, the Canal d'Amour stands as a testament to nature's artistry and human imagination. This captivating geological wonder has a history as rich and diverse as the island itself, weaving together ancient geological processes, romantic folklore, and the cultural tapestry of Corfu's past.
The origins of the Canal d'Amour trace back millennia, to a time when the forces of wind and water sculpted the rugged sandstone cliffs that characterize Corfu's coastline. Through the relentless process of erosion, these cliffs were gradually carved into a narrow channel, creating the breathtaking natural passageway that we marvel at today. Over time, the crystal-clear waters and secluded coves formed by this process have come to define the enchanting landscape of the Canal d'Amour.
Beyond its geological significance, the Canal d'Amour is steeped in romance and legend. Its evocative name, which translates to the "Canal of Love," hints at the centuries-old tales that have captured the imaginations of locals and visitors alike. According to one popular legend, couples who swim through the canal will be blessed with eternal love and happiness. Another myth suggests that a woman who passes through the channel will soon find her true love. These enchanting stories have imbued the Canal d'Amour with a sense of magic and allure, drawing couples and honeymooners from around the world in search of romance and destiny.
The history of the Canal d'Amour is inseparable from the broader historical narrative of Corfu. As one of the Ionian Islands, Corfu has been inhabited since ancient times, serving as a crossroads of cultures and civilizations. Over the centuries, the island has been shaped by Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman influences, each leaving its mark on its landscape and heritage.
Today, the Canal d'Amour continues to captivate visitors with its natural beauty and romantic allure. It has become a popular destination for weddings, proposals, and romantic getaways, attracting travelers from around the world. Whether swimming through its azure waters, exploring its hidden caves, or simply basking in its stunning vistas, visitors to the Canal d'Amour are sure to be enchanted by its timeless charm and beauty.
As a testament to the enduring power of nature and human imagination, the Canal d'Amour stands as a symbol of romance, destiny, and the timeless allure of Corfu. Its history is a tapestry woven from geological processes, ancient legends, and the cultural heritage of the island, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in its enchanting embrace and discover the magic that lies within.

Haha, it’s interesting to see foreigners struggle with Indian spicy food, especially considering that Indian spices was a major reason for their historical visits 😂😂
You can use OLA, Uber when you want to hire a taxi. Probably you are going to get a better price than 350. My bad 400.
Yeah i know it the last days :p

Bro I'm from Bangalore India, it's the same all over India, they rip us off as well 😂. They'll always tell you a higher rate when you reach your destination compared to the first rate they say. You did well by staying firm. They'll always try excuses like it's raining, extra baggage, lot of traffic etc. Stay firm and stay safe brother !
Hahaha yeah i know but they could get more money from turist if they were honest from beginning, :p
Haha yeah true my man, even us locals deal with this bs with them everyday 🤣
AROUnd the world is the same shit hahaha
The statue is The sixth avatar among the Dashavatara of the preserver god Vishnu in Hinduism called Parashurama.🙏 welcome to India, Hope you are enjoying. 5:04

Bro Love From India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thank youuuu <3
Agra is the worse, stop fooling people. Visit the himalayas or south indian mountains or the 7 eastern states or the western ghats, skip everything around delhi, U.P, Rajasthan
Welll maybe for you Arga is the worse but i didbt say about the town i said about the architecture for the town (Agra) i didnt visit so i cany tell you if its the worst or the vest town , i can say only what i see for my side .
Taj mahal is overcrowded place in india explore natural places of India. It id the 2nd most geographical diverse country in the world Himalayan mountains, western Ghats rainforest, tropical beaches abdaman island, wettest place on earth meghalaya, many ancient architectures. At the last taj mahal is overrated if you see other places of India
Yeah i know but i was like 2 hours away from there so why not to see it :) its like you go to Athens and you don't see the Parthenon or you go to Rome you don't see the Colosseum or if you are like in Cairo you don't see the Pyramids
He parked at the wall 😂😂😂 the best taxi driver
hahahaha
very nice
Thank you so much :p
Very nice video and keep going 🎉✌🏽

Avoid Delhi. If someone scams in Delhi tell him you will call police.. they will run away
Hahaha next time when i will be there :p
Not run away, I think they will dance together 😅
Lol :p
Vi ser dig!
Hahaha jaha jag vinkar på er hejjj
yeah unfortunately that kinda scammy behavior is annoying, if they ask want to go here-there, best thing to do is to ask "total 50 r or more??" and always repeat again one more time and get their answer again twice because the first time they may answer in a rushy manner, and then they would say like another 100, and another 100 for a new place.
Yeah i know but its not only in India its around the world the same , on summer i will be at Greece and there , there is still scammer from taxi and what ever you think , i was in Tokyo i got scammed there too hahaha but it was too late to record that time
@@DimmanExploring yeah good for apps like Uber/ Ola, atleast for rest of travels from one place to another, you know before hand what your rate will be. Not sure if you have tried those in India, but you even get the tuktuks/rickshaws on Ola/Uber haha.

Dont forget to Subscrube comment down below say hi and see you ont the next video ❤
Just speak in native language if you are not good in eng bruh😊 put subs on. Also use metro or cab service coz traffic is not gonna work according to your comfort...
Well i know but 1. Its take too long to put subs 2. Its good to talk so i dont forget what i know hahahaha 3. Keep griding :P
Hahhahaah😂😂😂 nice❤
Thank youuuu
nah, he was trying to scam. there is nothing like a monkey fest. good thing you didnt fall for it. if you need any travel guidance, its best to use uber or ola in delhi or just travel by metro. best of luck for the rest of your travel! 🍀
I think he was crazy but you never know mayve he did this so i give him money , but the other thing is that he was talking normaly and after 2 sec he was talking like this for 10 minutes , i have anither video with a scammer .
Keep going babe😅❤
Thank you so much <3

goa is for partying, and relaxing, so beach vibes... also check out the church's, waterfalls, and beaches. Also if your in goa, and you want local, you should get the vindaloo... but goa is very international... you should check out Kerala?
I didn’t have time for the waterfall , that would be cool to see , I think more party was at the north side of goa I think so Kerala and some other place is for the next time , India is so big country you need 10 years to check everthing 😅😅😅😂😂
