Idk off the top of my head how much intelligence you need for the shield but it would drop the damage down for sure. You can use martial arts level 2 to block with your hands. It’s difficult but satisfying.

I feel this. Already lightning has too many spells to queue up. Fighting the corrupted gladiator was an exercise in swapping between shields and attack spells. Stressful. My punch build is easy to use and simple but having trouble on the last boss as you have to parry him and hard to do with just your hands. Everything has its cost and its benefit. Lightning I have to swap out spells on the fly and almost constantly. Punches it’s hard to block/parry. I don’t think there’s one build to rule them all.

@LeeAnnCrimesPSN duel welding wands can be used to parry as well. Only thing I hate is i depending on what spell I use I have to keep the wands down by my sides. Also you have to be holding the wands to get the passive benefits like increase lighting damage and reduce spell costs

That is a good question. I haven’t been in permadeath yet to know how difficult it is. There’s a skill in Hybrid that will give you 100 health if you have 5 or less vitality. It does require 35 secondary points present as well which makes it a high level option. This might give you the boost to health you want without sacrificing too much but you gotta get there. What build are you going with? lightning?

@ yes I’ll give that a try and yes I’m on lightening character I’ve already got the stone skin mod on and I’m literally at the point of fighting Lanister the damned and he has like 1100hp. I’m dreading it lol as he must have killed me a million times on my strength build on normal mode with all my points piled in to health . We managed to beat him last time with three of us trying to keep one of us alive atleast so we could quickly spawn back in but can’t do that this time. I’ve a reset point and know I’ve put points in to some things I don’t need so will use it at some point just a bit stuck on where best to put my points that I haven’t thought of . I’ve literally had the game probs 3 weeks and there is not much to go on regarding which direction to go in with spending points and apparently if you go wrong it could make the game harder . Thanx for the tip if you have any more they would be most appreciated

I have! I’m a klutz with them though. I end up grabbing them by accident and dropping them. For the final boss I should keep a couple quick potions on the holders but I promise you, watch my vids long enough and you’ll see me drop things left and right from the holster or the quick wheel even. 🤦🏻‍♀️

You got it! Got the start of a lightning build scheduled for 5pm PT today, but this was the other idea I had. The video today will talk about building a build. I look at and go over what I’m calling sub trees. I do talk about the bows and daggers. I’m not sure how strong you can go on both at the same time. I’ll look into it!

☺️ Ty! and I feel ya. There isn’t much content out there and it’s heart breaking as this game deserves it. It looks simple on the surface but it’s not. There are so many builds you can do and it feels so good to plan it out and make it happen. I’m working on this strength/dual wield fists build atm and honestly have it finished. Releasing a new video today with the explanation, but I messed it up and have to beat the last boss to get another reset point so I can correct it. The video explains what you should do and I plan to put the text of the build in the description so it will be easy to duplicate. With the 53 points you get in the end, the math checks out. The video also explains how to use the build more than just “hit em in the gut” 🙂

What build would you like to see? Pick a fighting style/weapon and we can start from there.

​​@@LeeAnnCrimesPSNI actually am building a Iaido based build, Katana (going for the Senbon-Zakura legendary), so max-out ace up my sleeve (since Iaido is the art of attacking while unsheathing the sword) and heavy attack based passives, as well as muscle endurance since I have to attack multiple times fast with Senbon-Zakura, Beat up A and Beat up B, still figuring out the rest, I think some CRIT chance is also going to be good, still theory crafting it tho, but I would love to see some stealth crit-based dagger action or spear build

It looks like it right! It’s Body Blow. A skill in Gutsy that stuns when you are only using fists, the enemy is attacking, and you hit them in the body. I go for the gut as that’s what you’d do irl. It’s so satisfying.

There’s a pedestal right next to the ore forge, just place whatever weapon you want to name on there and it’ll pop up with a menu automatically

Idk if you’re on PC or PS, but if you need more legendary whetstones, drop in a lobby with PC players and eventually someone will hook you up. Don’t waste honor on them. Save that for upgrading legendary skills.

Good question. I would say so. There are so many different builds you can make and that’s what increases the replay value. You may only be fighting like 6 or so dungeons/bosses, but each time you play thru with a different build will be a different experience. There is good solo play and multiplayer. Like each has its merits and its fun. You don’t have to stick to one mode. Paying a lot for VR games from indie companies like this one helps the indie community. It helps establish their value in a world of AAA junk and gets them the money they need to improve it. They keep adding more weapons for free. If you can afford it, get the game at any price. It’s totally worth it and might help making gaming better. If you are low of cash, wait till it’s on sale. I bought it full price and never gave it a second thought. Can’t stop playing. Go find UrbanWolfGames on Discord and take a look at the posts from devs. Check out the community. It might help your decision.
