This is actually a good figure. I expected the Prime Changers to be cheap and gimmicky, but they are not. They are just a more affordable and simpler version of a deluxe. I am so happy I got this figure. This is the first official Hasbro cartoon-accurate Gears. This figure is nicely done with great molded and painted detail, a smooth and simple transformation. I'm a sucker for a Prime, but I don't have that one as of yet. But I do have the Sunstreaker. I just haven't opened him yet...... yeah, that doesn't help much, does it? Who are you more of a fan of?

Yeah, I didn't even think to that till I saw a pic.
I admit, I dismissed this figure upon reveal. Not familiar with the character and never saw the appeal especially when the transformation was too simple. I did get him on discount and finally saw the appeal. Had good articulations and an all sturdy bot that look good aswell!
It is a good figure, I was mainly surprised how close they kept the similarities between it and the G1 model.
I recently bought it, it still hasn't arrived. Very good figure for a low price. Great review

Great review! Theyre probably gonna release a full super mode at some point. In the show his faceplate opened whenever he used the shining finger even when he wasnt in super mode. Kinda wish they just had all the parts here for that but oh well! Cant wait to get mine in

After reading your comment I went back and watched a few episodes, I had completely forgot Super Mode didn't appear until later in the series.
