The ball went in, didn't it? Obviously it was a shot. Wingers are taught to put the ball on the back post, so if the ball goes in, it was a shot. If the ball doesn't go in, then obviously it was a pass! Great answer! The sheepish smile tells you all you need to know, but take credit for a great shot, and give your team credit for getting you the ball in the right place, and for having runners distracting the defense.

I also LOVED the boos! I'm not sure what those knuckleheads were booing, unless they just don't like the LAWS of the game. The LAWS specify that time is kept on the field by the referee. You PLAY to the WHISTLE, PERIOD. If you don't, then you richly deserve what you receive.

The coach is passionate. Interestingly enough, every ball that crossed the goal line between the posts was last touched by a Louisville player and the statistical metrics say that Louisville won the game. I guess the next step is to win the game on the scoreboard.

Unbelievable goal by Savanna deep in injury time in the first half. An absolute screamer into the top right corner with the keeper diving in vain. Always enjoyable when its your team doing the scoring. For what it's worth I agree that Racing were much better in the second half and were on the front foot a lot more than in the first half.

Flint has me following you guys this year via the San Diego Wave 🩷🩵🌊. I have to say, I am forever a wave fan, but I am LOVING watching the journey this year.

Wish I could be there, but it is exciting for the TV viewer to hear how much louder Racing fans are this year!

Except in Fischer. Who has shown repeatedly she can't stay focused.

Having seen the "goal" on replay, as an extremely biased former official, the offsides call was totally proper, unfortunately. When the team views it on replay, there is a lesson to be learned.

I'm sure that the "answers" were interesting, however, without being able to hear the questions, how do I know what the heck the coach is talking about? Well, from the answers, I know that some players "came back". I don't know which players, but what the heck, is that important? If the questioners are going to ask about specific players, could they please IDENTIFY the players AUDIBLY, so I will understand what the hell the coach is talking about when she gives the answer? Maybe it was Elli or Kirsten, and honestly, I would have thought a question about Elli or her position would have been appropriate and informative, but then again, I'm no journalist. Oh, and by the way, the league mandated "availability report" is unhelpful as as of this writing it shows that EVERY rostered player is available to play tomorrow. I get that the coach might not want to release that information, but then don't release the video until game time! (I still remember that Morgan was available for the game, and was NOT an "excused absence" last year.)

Wow! Even though I couldn't hear most of the questions, there was a lot of meat in this interview. I think that she was asked about Uchenna, and if that is correct, she looks like a much better player this year. I think we saw glimpses of it last year, but this year seems better so far. With regard to Taylor, I confess, that she doesn't look like the typical soccer player, and I think that biases me into thinking that she is not as effective as she actually is. Obviously, she is a threat with her head, but she is so much more than I confess that I have given her credit for. Oh, and with regard to Morgan, is there a Taylor Swift concert nearby? Or perhaps their coach won't certify the pitch as good enough for their princess. Some people are cursed with the liability of memory, and simply are unable to forget. I plead guilty.
