I hhope you will be appointed as a Judge soon . I am sure you will distinguish yourself as one . My sincere opinion . S .KULASINGHI
Thank you for your vote of confidence. I am content where I am.
Always a pleasure to listen to your analysis of these cases . On the withdrawal of some high profile cases by the AG , I wonder why he is granted unfettered powers to institute , prosecute , or withdraw any or all charges as and when he likes at any stage of the trial ,and he has done this on many cases as you highlighted now and in the past . Amazingly he does not have to answer to anyone why . I feel it is high time that this piwer is taken away from him . If he decides to withdraw charges he must justify to the presiding Judge /Judges and the Judge must have the sole power to accede or reject his request. Just imagine the amount of time and effort put in by all parties , for days and months and often years , then suddenly the AG waves a magic wand and everything comes crashing down making a mockery of the system of justice in this country . S .KULASINGHI
Excellent point. Very power must be subject to legal restraint and judicial examination.

what is the use of power if you cannot use it. That means kleptocracy, crime free by freeing yourself from all charges and corruption at will. This is the malay centric government based on NEP and Ketuanan. These 2 principles àre the driving forces of malay politics. No malay will give up on these 2 principles. If and when malay MPs dominate the country all hell will break lose
