To someone new to blender, it would have been nice if the video was 4 seconds longer so i could actually understand whats going on with the grouping at the 20 second mark.

I've never used Blender but I'm sooo interested in achieving this effect in a 3D model. Is it possible to use this shader with glass, metal or a textured material like wood? Or does the color ramp force it to be plain color? Thank you!!
