@@tonybolognavich70 the atessa system completely disconnects the front wheels from the drivetrain during a racing turn. It's triggered by g forces and steering wheel sensors. Basically if you know how the R32 works, it's going to drift like an FR car and magically (electronically) turn into a 4wd straights
@@FLMKane no I’m pretty sure you have that backwards, it sends the torque to the front wheels when it detects wheel spin

That GTST has SO much more power over the FC. When it's even given a little bit of a straight at 3:57 it shoots off, but within 6 corners the FC is right on his rear again. That RX7 driver is CRACKED and probably like 45 years old now.

This is without a doubt one of the few amateur videos where serious skills are displayed. I'm not sure who's best here...the driver of the FC able to push such a relatively old (tho certainly enhanced) car, or the R32 driver able to drift such a heavy 4wd like that.
not all r32s are awd, some like the gtst model are rwd, and with the rb20 (2 liter inline 6) or rb25 (a 2.5 liter inline 6), but still heavy lol

@@alessandrob8507 Yes they are called R32s, but they aren't called GT-R, they are called GTS-T or GT-T. The one in the video is a two-door GTS-T, since it's a "widebody" rwd.
@@vilshe7449i think this might be a gtr though, as the original title of this video called it a "BNR32", which means it's a gtr(bnr was reserved for gtrs).

they're both drifting its hard to tell cause it looks like grip on the big cam, but if you look at the onboard cam bottom left, you can clearly tell he is also drifting around most of the corners that the r32 does as well
