Father Daughter wedding dance. Guns n Roses “Sweet Child O Mine”.
We started out with our father daughter dance dancing to Carole King‘s "Sweet Child of Mine". It was a slow dance of course. Then we acted like it was not for us. Went to the DJ. And he pulled out these actual guitars which I own. No one was aware of this planned event. We started playing some air guitar. Several people at first we were actually playing the guitars. Great times!

From the factory the drain sets up higher than the bottom of the pan. I wanted mine to set lower so I could drain the table easier. This is how I did it.

GE WD30X10039 Dishwasher Inner Rail Upper Rack Assembly

THIS IS THE CORRECT VIDEO for installing a WD30X10039 in a GE PDWT200V00WW dishwasher. I was tired of videos claiming to be this rail when they were some other style. It's super easy if you know where the rail clip is!!

We have 5 commercials we made to play at intervals during our off site leadership meeting. Some of the items mentioned you may not understand unless you work at KUMC. Here they are, together, about 5 inutes long. Enjoy, and stay healthy my friends!
You sir are my hero! The tip @1:05 about the ball bearing slider being all the way to the rear solved my issue. I was raging at those rails for not locking in place. Watched this and somehow the ball bearing sliders on mine had wedged themselves at the opposite end. Yan ked them back to their home and what do you know? The rails slide right in! Appreciate you making this!!
Thank you!!!
Thank you! We replaced the rails but couldn’t get the rack to go back in - making sure the ball bearings were all the way forward worked great
sir, thank you very very much for doing this video. It helped me a lot, saved a bunch of time. 💞💞
You helped us out a lot!!! Subscribed.
Thank you.. thank you… referred to your video to figure out the ball bearing bar… you solved my question… as well as helped me complete my task of fixing my dishwasher… even the parts department at my local appliance store was unable to give me instruction, although they tried by pulling the owner’s manual… without your video… I would still be troubleshooting!! Again, thank you.
Count me among the many who are thankful for your video. Like the other commenters, yours was the only video I could find about this type of railing. For context, our unit is a GE Profile PDT755SYRFS built in 2021 that still uses this type of top rack slides. The trick was indeed spotting those little levers which, as you surmised, do operate in opposite directions. The trick for me was trying to get the sliders (on the rack) back onto the rails (inside the dishwasher). I fought with it for awhile until I remembered you said that those sliding (ball bearing) pieces needed be pushed ALL THE WAY BACK on the sliders. Indeed, because it is those pieces that hold the sliders and rails together. After that, they pushed in and clicked into place perfectly. Thanks again so much for taking the time to make and post this video.
Just want to say thank you for the video. There is ZERO material online on how to remove the upper rack and I spent hours trying to reconcile. I ran into a snafu when trying to put the rack back- the inner metal piece with the tiny white beads flew off and the beads went everywhere. Was lucky to get it reassembled. Incredibly poor design on GE’s part.
How did you get the beads to stay in place in the holes??? It seems to be a futile effort to get the beads to stay in place and impossible to reinstall the rail without them falling off immediately. What am i missing here? Any advice on how you accomplished that is HIGHLY appreciated.
@@microphisher After 4 attempts, I tried to get each bead snug into their individual holes then load the bead bracket back onto the rail. The tricky part was getting the rack back on with enough force not to knock the bead bracket off again. It was infuriating but not impossible. See if you can’t hold the bead bracket piece close to the rack while you’re putting it on but at some point you’ll have to slide it all back and hope it hits inline.
@@frostyarcade Thanks so much for the response! Just to know it's possible will save me a hundred bucks... Until i give up or stomp on the dishwasher door. Ha. Thanks again
@@microphisher You can hold the bearings in place with a strip of duct tape to remove/reinstall. Note that the holes for the plastic bearings enlarge from wear and they fall through and into your pump motor. Then the rack will sag lower and the pickup for the spray bar won't seat. This in turn will prevent the tray from going all the way in and the door won't close. Pitiful design.
Only video on the internet for this inner rack ram assembly. Thanks!
Thank you so much! You saved me so much frustration
THANK YOU!!!!!! I too could NOT figure these rails out. How simple the answer was! Just slide the ball bearing rails to the back and it went in the first time! I actually broke the first set trying to reinstall them without instructions. Those bearings went everywhere as did my temper. Cost me $100 for the new ones. Finally found your video. Perfect!! If your ever in Huntsville Alabama, my wife and i owe you a steak dinner!
Not showing how to move or where to move the clips does not help at all
I have heard that this can not be found anymore. I did a simple google search with the part number, Came up with this site that listed 71 available: parts2u.com/WD30X10039-INNER-RAIL-UPR-RACK-ASM_p_1631526.html
I did this back in 2018. I am not sure where to order it today. I don’t remember where i purchased mine. I know I googled the part and came up with a company that sold them.
Ok serious 20 stars for you been fighting with this off and on for a while now... Kept giving up. did it like a pro with this video
Not able to find this part WD30X10039 anywhere. Could you please send me link for site where I can find this or Is there any alternative part I can use. Thanks
I made this video a few years ago. I don’t remember where I bought mine. I think I just googled the part number and found a supplier. Sorry i couldn’t be of more help,
I just did this simple google search and saw this: parts2u.com/WD30X10039-INNER-RAIL-UPR-RACK-ASM_p_1631526.html. Not sure if that is what you are looking for or not.
@@Dudley1030 thanks for looking into this. The site you sent is not operational due to COVID And part is discontinued by GE. So far I didn’t find any replacement either 🙁
what a shit fake
It worked! Thank you so much!
Great video, thanks for posting!
Does anyone know where to just buy the plastic end piece that the top rack clicks into? The guy in the video referenced in commonly breaking and my replacement rail didn't come with that piece.
Yep. This is the question to be asked. Certain suppliers sell the rail w/o the clip. Others w/ the clip. Question is, do they sell the clips alone w/o the rack. Did you ever find them?
On ours, rails are fine but those little tines broke off. Problem is, when those tines break off the upper rack just falls right out. The rails are discontinued (of course) but can be found on eBay for $63ish each which would be acceptable if they actually needed to be replaced, but they don't. I fixed ours with strategically placed zip ties, which was considerably cheaper. However.....Whatever brain trust is responsible for that horrible design should be put up against a wall and shot.
This is exactly, almost word for word, what we did and put up with. We're okay with paying for a replacement part, we just can't find one though. Goddamn GE.
Indeed.
Where can I purchase the upper rack WD30X10039 ? I searched online and it seems to be discontinued with no references to a substitute. Thank you!
eBay has them: www.ebay.com/itm/264088532637?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338683863&customid=264088532637_11700&toolid=11000
Much appreciated, my friend! Excellent job.
My bracket is stuck on the right hand side but if I remove the bottom rack and get my head inside in the correct angle I do see a little plastic gray lever. The trick is now knowing which direction (up or down) to try and toggle that and how much pressure to apply. {{ Sigh}}
Finally had a repair person come out. Here's a picture of my rail twitter.com/schnoodleDo/status/1249407848192315393 ends up that that tab on the right goes UP, the tab on the left goes down. He then had to install the rail to the rack and then install that into the machine. My machine is GE PDT825SSJ2SS
This video was not very helpful.. found these instruction and had it out in seconds .. the video did help me find the part number . Which searched to find instruction.. www.justanswer.com/appliance/94nz3-top-rack-ge-dishwasher-model.html
Thanks for this.
I can't figure out how to get my top rack back into the plastic brackets! Can anyone help?
Thank you! Yours was the only video I could find that addressed these type of rails for my GE Profile dishwasher. Maybe I would have found the little levers eventually but I sure didn't see them until after I watched your video and went to look for them. Their dark gray color makes them hard to see unless you know what you're looking for. My replacement rack off ebay came with rails but not with the little ball bearing sections, so your video also helped me figure out that I needed to transfer those from the old rails to the new.
Also, GE's website actually states that the top racks with height adjustment are not meant to be removed except by a "qualified technician". Yeah right - I need a qualified technician to move a lever 1/4"...
FInally!!! I wrestled with reinserting an upper dishwasher rack with these uncommon rails for what seemed like an hour, and could only find instructions for the wrong types of rails. Moving the ball-bearing slide to the end of the rail was the trick I was missing. Turned an hour of frustration into a minute of effort. Thanks!
Thomas Lundin iI eel your pain. That is why I posted this video. Frustration.
Well, correct for the revision version of the rack slide/glide you have. Mine has two lanced tabs with holes in each. One fits over the bracket with the forward facing pin and one is captured by a screw that passes through the hole in the tab and into a hole almost exactly halfway along the side of the upper rack. Replacement requires an 12 in. socket extension. to reach.
Looks cool indeed. Any excessive coil whine? Cant seem to find it in stock anywhere in my country :l
This is just fantastic.
