Dude, we as gamers DO NOT care whether your model looks exactly like the actress. We do care when you start with a beautiful original and somehow end up with an inferior character, because then it's all down to your artists' mediocrity rather than the original human model. I do not start with a beautiful woman, and then end up with an ugly woman in my drawing. Except back when I was learning how to draw; those are the attempts I throw in the bin while beating myself up to "Get Gud" so I can do my fav actress justice. I did not make excuses, and I was 12.

What is the point of hiring an actress with the intention of using their likeness if you are not gonna do it 1:1? Might aswell create a model from scratch.

@@JosefStaliner Actors are for scans so that we can get as much realistic structures as possible, Even if we don't wanna make 1:1 model. If we started making models from scratch it will be unrealistic as hell. For example in Avatar game we can't make 1:1 human models but we still hire models for face scan. Also I don't do 3d model stuff, I just code the game so stop blaming me for these.

Was gonna say, if they're going to end up ugly anyways, just ask a random employee to be the model, don't even have to pay her extra. Don't even have to be a her, from the looks of it. Seems like that's what happens in the end no matter what. Pay thousands of dollars for a beautiful face model, then the MC ends up looking like the female senior dev or female writer anyways.

The model actress is still beautiful with no makeup. It's in the little details. Plus no one really complained until the sequel when they puffed her up.

Alloy literally spent days traversing America on horseback to reach the forbidden west, she is literally sunburnt and she wasnt made more fat, her actress has the exact same cheek fat and rounded chin, the difference is she contours it on most of her pictures to make her face look slimmer, thats what make up does dude. And the massive animation improvements now meant that her cheek fat actually moved more so it would look like she is more fat but its literally her face moving during talking while Alloy in the first game was notorious for stiff animations therefore direct comparison made her face look more fat, but it just freaking moved during talking like actual fat we have in the face and her idle face when she isnt talking was still the exact same proportion.

Ok I'm trying out your suggestions. What time of armor should I use?

@@5-minreviewer677 Standard armor. I've used XL-325 engine, endosteel structure and of course double heatsinks (all 13 in the XL-engine). Then I stripped 10 points of armor of the arms, 23 of the legs and 16 of the head, while frontloading all of my armor on center and sidetorsos (1 point at the back). As for the skills... I've maxed cooldown, range, heat and velocity while taking all the missile nodes in the firepower tree. Grabbed all the armor, for once skipping structure (great armor quirks and it's got ECM to sneak around while dealing that 102,5 alpha three times even with ghostheat from two MRM40's). Max cool run and heat containment, while running three nodes of radar derp and the two ECM nodes and a double coolshot for murdering people faster with it.
