This is a fairly ridiculous review as small window air conditioners have been widely used since the late 1940s. They have not improved. They are not as good as the old ones and won’t last 40 years or more like they did. There is only one brand of window air conditioner I would buy. Friedrich is the best one available and worth the higher price. Something that is going to make the difference in whether you are comfortable or miserable is not the purchase on which you want to attempt to save money. People spend the price of a car for central air conditioning systems that claim to be so efficient yet any HVAC person will tell you there is a great waste of energy due to duct leakage and air pressure imbalances sucking in air from the attic, swampy crawl space or any place it can get the air from. With a window air conditioner everything is self contained. Provided the installation is done well with fairly good sealing around the window opening, there is no better way to have your bedroom exactly the temperature you prefer.

Can I plug this into a 110 outlet or does it need 220?

We bought this thing and it worked when we tested it, but as soon as we buried the sensor it stopped working. We installed it exactly how we were supposed to and didn't work. Dug it up and did it all over again. Worked when we tested it again and then nothing when we buried the sensor. Junk

Here are important tips concerning outdoor sensors for weather stations. I own both brands of Newentor and Accurite great weather stations. All my outdoor sensors are wrapped in double zipped sandwich bags, and extra secured with rubber bands. I simply insert a small tie wrap under the elastic bands, so that I can hang them in a safe dry and sun free location. This method has benefited my sensors to remain in mint condition and trouble free, even in the outside environment. I strongly discourage exposing any weather sensor without these simple procedures. Did you have an issue connecting the male "Liquid Tight 1/2" connection" to the female electrical connection on the side of the pump? I just got a new pump and it binds very tightly so I am unable to thread the electrical casing connection into the side of the pump electrical box.
