Did you have to to tune it after exhaust any problems if you didn’t?
With the tent whats your total height?
We're there any bolts included to install the brackets etc
Hey mate are you from Toowoomba ?
@@chillwinston1255 yeah I’m from Toowoomba
Good day mate how is the fire pit looking now after 3 years?
Looks good. Got hot plate stands over embers. But that looks good an no burnt up grass. Cheers
more contects brother! 10months last post hpe to see you again!
Nice video! I just ordered these and they come in the mail. Took 10 days to get here but there's no washer or spring washers. Any idea if yours come with both and I should be able to get them from the local hardware store correct. Thanks
Hello what brand is your pull out draw / kitchen
Hi, I use on my D22 tyres size 255/85R16 rims 16x8 ET 0
What lift do you run?
@@rowleyjefferson1810 Hi, on this time i have only body lift, for this tyres size,,Tyres what i use, are Toyo Open Country M/T 255/85R16
Have you had any issues with the timing chain on the d22?
Wow that was so exciting lol😂
Great video! Starting the fire was also a good use of the diesel-petrol artisan blend
had any problems getting pulled over by the cops?
Never been pulled over
Heh freestanding awning that you need poles to hold up in order to walk under it. Great informative video though,, Know what one I'm crossing off the list of options to purchase. Like your solution for the rain covers poles.. I wondered about that on mine Cheers,
Yeah it dose have a few let downs but it’s a step up from my old awning, thanks for the good vibes my bro
He only used two mounting brackets instead of three or four. Also, those brackets are not reinforced to prevent vertical movement. You could customize them by welding on little triangles between baracket plates, which would dramatically improve stability.
where do you put your inverter
6 knt speed limit on dam mate just saying
That’s nice
Have you tried stringing the front pull strap up higher, say to the front of your roof rack? That should help pull that 'sag' in the front as I found with ours pulling it back at the same height as the awning itself helps keep it taught, just like what the back has done.
Where’s that at it looks good.
Carols by candle light
Nice!
Very informative. Love your work mate.
What are you using on you tail gate to make it flat?
Hey mate just using a sheet of gal cut to size with rubber back carpet on it 👍
Looks the goods mate, been thinkin bout getting a 270 degree awning. Been told the third bracket is required at the back as thats where most.of the pressure with all the ally rhs is
yeah man i would argue with that, ill trial it for a few weeks keep a eye on it and see if i need another one
Hell yea! I got my Tacoma going strong!
would love to see some pics
cool
Great kitchen setup. I don't understand how when you open the drawer initially it doesn't put out only the cook top. How did you make it open the drawer and then you open it the second time and the cook top slides out. I'm going to try to do the same.
Ok so when I made the pull out kitchen, I took the front of the draw of completely, then I attached draw runners inside the original draw from Bunnings, then I made a box up out of plywood to fit between the runners, then I attached the front back on and used the original hole for the latch, that way the draw can pull out or the stove can pull out, I can do a separate video and upload on TH-cam over the week end if that would help, in exchange for a share on Facebook or some thing like that! Cheers for the msg
good to see ya back dude
Thanks back in action will have regular vids up for every one soon
What Air filter do you have?
I just run a generic filter from super cheap mate
That’s way too much oil when you’re seasoning it. Also tip it upside down (same with the lid) so the oil doesn’t pool at the bottom .
Ok thanks I’ll give that a crack next time
That was clever. Well done. 👏
Thank you! Cheers!
I just bought the 2022 nissan navara. So if I bought the same as you... it should work for my ute too???
yeah, should be fine.
How much space you go between wheel arch and draws. Did you have to bash wheel arches? I have a tub liner in mine and sadly the draws dont fit
I had no problem getting them in there, there is about 30mm on either side of the draws between the wheel arches
@@pauljaveryoutdoors4154 sorry for late reply. Strange. Some people where saying they could some couldnt. Im in a nav group on fb, some bashed wheels gaurds to fit.
Hey Paul. Did you do a video on how you done the kitchen slide, was going to copy your idea. As I have just purchased the titan draws and was wanting to do a similar thing or the exact same 😎👍
No I did not do a video on the making of the draws sorry about that
Where did you get those woods? Are those oaks? And how long that fire stays on? 2hr?
Woods just Australian red bark, burns for 4 hours or so
Brilliant idea with the cooker slide out, well done .
Thanks cheap and easy
Hey Man!!! I have the same Bakkie, is a great machine!!!... very cool your Custom for overland. Thanks for the videos!!! Thanks for share!!!! ;) GREETINGS FROM CHILE!!!!!

Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
👍
thanks
Came here for a review on the roof top tent, stayed here for the dog Great vid 👌🏻
Awesome, thank you!
Straight up .. good vid
Thanks
Thanks for doing this vid mate!! just packing the car with the kids right now to head off to boondooma! We don't have a boat but hoping the fishing is good from the banks, do you have any tips for land based fishing at boondooma mate?
No problem 👍
Cool idea about the plate on the tail gate, going to head to a metal works place and do the same ! cheers dude
Glad it helped
Hey!, Great Review. I've had one of them for a few years now, but for the life of me, how come there are flames shooting outta the arse end of it. Mine has never done and / or achieved this! lol I'm gonna take out the cast iron grid at the bottom next time....(I think that's how you got that flame going spas like that. :) (I have the model with the holes going around the top and only 2 clips) :( Other than that i'm very happy with it and worth while the extra $$$ you initially need to lay out for it. Cheers! Mick
yeah i did not use that plate!
They wing kit wouldn't go over the wheel archers would it?
no not really just left it out i can fit more in the back that way
Chur for the video cuz! 👌🏽 where you buy towing points bro?
just on ebay my bro, searched D22 towing points
Another copy of the SnowPeak. Drifta Stockton have this available under their brand as well. There is another company out in the West OZWIT I reckon doing the same design. SnowPeak comes out of Japan still I reckon. These are all Chinese copies I think. Snowpeak from memory is like $600 for a large one, but apparently it's very good.
yeah its a copy at a fraction of the price
Wanding how did you draws like that with cooker
I just made the draw into another draw with a few draw slides and made it out of wood! The stove fits right in and I have used it so much and it keeps on giving so very happy with this cheap mod
Nice I’ve been there like 100 times I’m going back there in 2 days with family friends and cousins
It is one of my favourite fishing and camping spots here in QLD good luck
@@pauljaveryoutdoors4154 thanks I’m got back like 1 or 2 weeks ago lol
Thats what I like to see , a roaring inferno to cook a few burgers & snags. It will be just right to cook in an hour or so. You would need a ute load of firewood for a weekend camping.😩
You got that right!
