Loved the video! Sonic 1 for the Master System was quite literally the first game I ever played, so I have crazy nostalgia for it. Great to see the Game Gear version get some atention, as there aren't many reviews of it out there

When the studiopolis theme started playing I almost bust a move

I used to be all about the blue hedgehog back then. Nowadays, I just stick to the pixel art true classics where they don't really focus on storytelling. When the IP becomes a total mess, it can be very hard to care what happens afterwards. As a former OG fan, I may have been very disappointed in how "Sonic Superstars" turned out (especially with bugs and glitches at launch), but that shouldn't stop others from enjoying the classic-ish reboot. It's fine if the others get enjoyment out of it, as long as they acknowledge that it's not a true golden era "Sonic" game; "Sonic Superstars" is extremely divisive like nearly every other "Sonic" game. That true golden era honor goes to the 16-bit "Sonic" games and "Sonic Mania (Plus)". I've been around for a long time since the early 1990s, so I know what true quality is (polish, focus, et cetera). I consider "Sonic Mania (Plus)" a true send-off for the true golden era of the blue hedgehog.

And now I wanna play Sonic again 😭 (not complaining about it xD)

Loved the video! I grew up playing sonic games as well and played adventure dx and 2 as well as heroes on my gamecube a lot. Kinda sad you didn't get around to playing '06 and unleashed as i played those a lot as well 😢 I hope you do another video on the games you didnt get to play soon!

Also auf den Minecraft-Maps hattest du heute echt nicht so deine Glanzstunden. Waren aber schon lustige Fails. Aber was die Romhack-Sache angeht: Ja, gerade bei Handhelds ist es ein ganz anderer Vibe, wenn man sich irgendwo entspannt hinsetzen kann und auf originaler Hardware spielt, statt einfach nur am PC ein Fenster offen zu haben.
