An Alnik WSR Golf 3 Holes World Record? Feels like 2021...
A few years ago I would have never thought this is possible, but here it is, a perfect Resort C score.
What changed since then? I installed in June 2024 the Caddie Mod (link below), which allows to select holes, wind and pin placement individually. I knew I could challenge now the Resort C record with a good preparation:
That means finding as many reliable lineups as possible for hole 8 and 9. With Caddie mod I could individually practice the holes and look for lineups I could recreate in an actual run. This step took me a few days, and sometimes during runs I figured new ideas and tested them afterwards. I recorded the lineups I created and during my runs I watched the clips trying to recreate what I have done in practice before, which is easier said than done. It can be very hard to copy the aim of a shot, especially when the aiming line is outside the minimap. I use "yarn strat" to help me aiming ( th-cam.com/video/Gy8f7lWymCw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EqarMlprqNGJ33eR&t=24 ). Many lineups require a certain amount of backspin, which is especially hard to get right.

In my actual runs I used follwing strat:
Hole 7: Get the eagle with south wind. This will give me higher chances to get good wind on hole 9, which is a necessity. South wind is (besides North) also the easiest wind to get the eagle. I knew how to play every wind speed on all 3 pins by heart and got an eagle on average in about 5 minutes.
Hole 8: Counting all lineups I had about 40% chance to get a condition I could use the help of a video. The videos helped, but only a handful of lineups worked consistently, and even then I misaimed a pixel wrong or failed to get the power or backspin right. The Hole in One I got in this run was lined up with a prerecorded video, but because I had the same conditions a few minutes before that run I did not even have to rewatch it.
Hole 9: Often times when I aced hole 8 I got bad wind on hole 9 which makes an albatros impossible. In this run I not even got good wind, I even got a wind I had a lineup for (chance about 17%). I were in this situation before and already choked four or five runs in this situation. I took my time here to watch my lineup video and finally nailed the albatros.
