Tbh I always built a small ugly factory to get the basic tiers unlocked and some of the more advanced ones, Up until I felt I had enough things to make a proper large one with all the bells and wistles. Then completely remodle the small ugly ones.

I mean, it's not a bad start if that is your first build. Well done, it looks good. For factories later on in the game, you just need a purpose. Let's say heavy modular frame. Then, from the idea, you use a map to locate a good area with all the outputs you need. Since there is mostly no difference with input/output for most ores, i recommended smelting on-site , then belting your ingots to their inputs. Also, manifolds make it more compact they just take longer to "warm-up" in efficiency.

Build as tightly as possible, but dont start unless you have the entire factory planned out! It's very easy to do with a well-made manifold line.

The tighter you build the more spagetified your build becomes, I have played so much of satisfactory I think nearly 250 hours and I still build my things too tight and it makes it impossible to expand without messing everything up

Stage 1: workbench Stage 2: workbench Stage 3: workbench Stage 4: gigafactory that fills the entire desert.

It takes 5 minutes to make spaghetti conveyors, it takes 5 hours to fix it all up as you not only need to move the conveyors but also all of the machinery that it was connected to

You are missing a few steps above it. Like usinng vehicles for transport, making good looking factories, maximing the posible node via different alternate recipes, automating everything etc.

Psycho Sniper. The hardest quest in my opinion.

This quest is horrendous. First wipe and I started late, currently trying to do this and only getting geared chads on Factory. Lesson learned for next wipe -- do it early!
