I remember this quote from back in the mid 90's from an instructor. I was looking for it on Google and came across this youtube video. The reason I was looking for that quote is that I'm in a training course on PEACE Interview/Investigations and the topic came up regarding establishing a rapport with the person you are interviewing, and all I could think about was the quote "every conversation is a negotiation". Really hits home.
That's brilliant K V - and a great example of the importance of being aware that at every step, people are looking for signs to trust us and for us to move forward in the conversation with them. Thanks for sharing! ☀
