Arctic Circle Treeline - Jeep Wrangler JK Expedition Northwest Territories Canada
มุมมอง 1.7K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Reaching the "treeline". Those are the last trees that exist before crossing the North American Polar Circle. Why? Because no tree can grow beyond this line. I'm currently driving my Jeep Wrangler JK in the Northwest Territories (Canada). Heading north towards the Arctic Ocean (Beaufort Sea). Visit my website www.thelonejeeper.ca

Tuktoyaktuk is located in the Northwest Territories (Canada). It faces the Beaufort Sea (Polar Circle). It's a very a long distance. You have to drive 500 miles / 800 km off-road to get there. I'm driving a Jeep Wrangler JK 2Doors. Visit my website www.thelonejeeper.ca

Water Truck Watering a Dusty Road in the Northwest Territories (Canada)
มุมมอง 2435 ปีที่แล้ว
It's rare I encounter such water trucks while driving my Wrangler JK in the remote wilderness in Canada. But it's really cool when they water dirt roads. However, a single watering may be effective for only a few hours. Visit my website www.thelonejeeper.ca

An Isolated Weather Station in the Northwest Territories - Jeep Wrangler JK Off-Road Expedition
มุมมอง 1325 ปีที่แล้ว
Just found an isolated weather station in the Northwest Territories (Canada). Beaufort Sea. Was wandering alone today in Jeep country with my Wrangler JK 2Doors. I like the moving solitude of those weather stations. Most don't have a human operator. They just keep broadcasting all by themselves. Visit my website www.thelonejeeper.ca

Logging Devastation - Yukon
มุมมอง 1635 ปีที่แล้ว
Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, Oregon, Montana... It's logging devastation everywhere. To be honest, it's starting to scare me. People who don't drive a 4x4 vehicle in the wilderness much often can't see what I'm seeing. Thousands and thousands of square miles. Visit my website: www.thelonejeeper.ca
Jeep Night Driving Yukon Canada 4x4 Off-Road
มุมมอง 22K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Found an unmapped shortcut last night and finally got lost in the woods for 5 hours in heavy bear territory. If I ever stop publishing stuff on TH-cam forever, the odds are I'm just dead. Having to drive a Jeep for a living might be the coolest job. But it's damn dangerous. Stay safe guys! To visit my website: www.thelonejeeper.ca

    Not against logging at all but this is typical in BC logging too! Probably some of the worst practices in the world

    • @AtTheTowerYT
      @AtTheTowerYT 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Often the Government delegates specific plots of trees to be logged. That’s probably an illegal logging operation that was shut down too late.

  • @vergaoneverga

    all canadian trees go to china for cheap cheap. thanks canadian government!

    • @AtTheTowerYT
      @AtTheTowerYT 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s very incorrect. Most private logging companies in Alaska and Canada sell locally and in the US to the United States or Canadian wood market.

    where was this?

  • @TS-lq8jf
    @TS-lq8jf 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Where is this in the Yukon? There is no large scale logging in the Yukon. Any "logging" you would have seen is either small operations or already dead trees being harvested for firewood.
