Great design. What is at the bottom of the lattice/ladder to stop sharp edges from potentially puncturing the bottom of the pool? Is it just the original feet from the ladder? Thanks.
The end in the water was the top of the ladder and had plastic caps on it

We have the same meter [UNI-T UT61E]. In response to sigrok-cli scan [sigrok-cli -d uni-t-ut61e-ser:conn=dev/ttyUSB0 --scan] I was getting an error [sr: serial: Attempt to open serial port with invalid parameters]. Regardless of conn=whatever the error was the same. So I unplugged my PL2303 USB/serial adapter and plugged it in again. And sigrok-cli finally returned [The following devices were found: uni-t-ut61e-ser - UNI-T UT61E (UT-D02 cable) with 1 channel: P1].
This is awesome! Question: how long is your ramp? We have the same size pool, and same size/breed of dog, I think this could work for us! Thank you for posting!

Going to be attempting this soon. My lab was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia and was researching ways to construct a ramp. This is really ingenious, so thank you for sharing. Going to try to give him hydrotherapy, which is why I'm needing a pool ramp. Right now, I'm stumped on the heating element part, especially for the winter. One hurdle at a time...
It has been alot of fun and sorry to hear about your dog. My last lab had that problem when he got older. Thanks for the comment.
@@jeffseaton5193 thank you. He's doing well with the mix of pain meds that were prescribed. Did you ever make a 3.0 version? :)
@@TheGranstafflol I just had to add some support to the outside part because my dog got up to 85lbs and you know how hard labs can be on stuff. It has held up really well all summer.
@@jeffseaton5193 lol, I'm hoping this helps supplement his diet. He's a lab mix and was over 100 pounds at one point. The wife and I was being too kind with his treats! He's under 100 pounds now, but needs to shed a few more per the vet. Anyway, if I remember to, I'll check back and give you an update. Pool got delivered today and plan on working on the ramp this weekend.

I recently bought a Tenma 72-10405 which is a rebranded UT61B. I'm also messing around with Linux software to work with it. My DMM came with USB cable, but it is a HID based device which I haven't figured out how to use with Linux, so I bought a pl2303 based DB9 to USB adapter, which works well.
Is this software have options export to csv file or different like xmls
There is only a -l option that will write the output to a log file. This can easily be imported into a spreadsheet because it is space delimited. Hope this helps.

how'd you get the lead to feed down into the plaster cast?
Tiffany Welton I stood the mold upright in a vice and it had a pour hole in the top of the mold. Then poured the lead slowly into the mold. Worked great.
i have written a perl script that will read the UT61E and will be posting in Part 2
