銀杏の木が最高に鮮やかな季節に訪れたことがあります。円錐形に整えられ、人工的でありながら感動の美しさ。4年に1度枝を整えるそうですね。多分1番ラッキーなタイミングで見物できたんだとおもいます。

Thank you so much for recording this video! During summer vacation as a kid, I used to visit my obaachan who lived just past the koen toward the end of your walk. Haven't been back in almost 40 years. It was almost like getting to go back and visit again!

LOL! I live in this area and recently discovered it or myself. The place really has a lot of character to it. Very remants of Showa era but at the same time lots of Cyberpunk potential. I saw a cyperpunk like photo shoot happening there today too! The neighborhood around there is very typical modern Japanese neighborhood just outside of the station area.

There is a zoo nearby at the top of the stairs up the hill. A Playground by the River with a roller bar slide. The Red-Light Zone off the Train bridge. And they used to shoot off fireworks by the LandMark Harbor area we could see all the way down the river.

Hi. Thanks for your video. It helped me a lot, but i have few questions and it would be great if you can help me here 😁. Right now i am writing a crime/thriller book where the location is in japan with also japanese characters. It is very difficult for me, because i am not in japan😓 and i have to search in videos and internet. I have planned that the main character moves to shakujii, because of the bus and train station. But i need now a quiet place where the main character lives and it would be great if a supermarket is on the othersite from his apartment and and a small workshop for some guy who lives there and construct machines. If you know some similar places or know some bettet places in other district, please let me know. Many thanks for this video. It helped really a lot. Always hated for the bridge but luckily they provided elevators. 😂 also this place is quiet, even in the morning and afternoon. Definitely recommended for tourists to stay without too much noises
