An Investiture is a ceremony where someone makes their Scout Promise, is welcomed to Cubs, and becomes a member of their Pack and the worldwide Scout family. Investitures are important and special ceremonies, but you can see from this video that they aren't strict or scary! Different Cub packs may do things slightly differently but they will always include a welcome, saying the Promise, and being awarded a scarf.
