Sorry to offtopic, but no one can help me answer the question. I have a question about the exercise shown in this video. th-cam.com/video/G0bHEDpg_QI/w-d-xo.html I read somewhere that the same daily exercise is recommended. But in human bodybuilding, only 1-2 exercises are done per muscle group per week, so that the muscle can regenerate. Isn't the same to dogs? What do they need daily? To maintain the routine because this is the goal,the opposite of muscle mass....

This is the way I do it. Immediately after few movement of the scaler, when a small piece of tartar comes out, I wipe it with a wet clean paper towels. After 10 small pieces of tartar, I use a new piece of paper towel. I use the fluorescent light (from a magnifying mirror) at night so I can see the tartar clearly! Yes, now I do it at night just because of the visibility I have with the fluorescent light. Please write me back with any questions. ❤️👍👍

This video should be TWO minutes. A LOT of wasted time at the beginning. About 6:30 is when the video starts. 1. boil equipment to sterilize it for 10 minutes 2. brush dog's teeth with doggie toothpaste 3. use a tartar scraper to scrape the tartar off the dog's teeth.

Love this way to take a dog for a walk, so much fun! My dear old dog used to ride on my bike with me, so we could go for wonderful days out, or just to the park. I think this is perfect for a larger dog, and luggage. Thanks for sharing! x

My dentist recommended that I buy an ultrasonic toothbrush to use. It was very inexpensive to buy an additional brush head and use that for my dog. The ultrasonic toothbrush doesn't take much brushing and I only brushed it outside of my dog's teeth so I'm not sticking anything down her throat. My dog was a breeder dog and a puppy mill. Of the roughly sexy dogs I've lived with, she's the only one I have not been able to desensitize to grooming. I really appreciate your scratch board video. It has really helped with her nails. I've got her desensitized enough that I can trim her hair and bathe her. She also easily lets me brush her teeth as long as I'm very calm and feed her a lot of treats. I also give her an anti-anxiety treat for about an hour before I want to brush her teeth. She didn't seem to know how to read people like most dogs do. However I think if a dog has lived in a puppy mill with almost no human contact for the first five to seven years of their life, some of those abilities dogs have to relate to people just will not get developed.

Beautiful teeth. As for brushing my dogs teeth, I prefer a type of rough fabric-type finger-glove that I get from the local pet shop, some kind of special woven type thing. They are called Anti-Plaque Finger and have some kind of silver ions. I have tried those plastic finger-brushes, silicone brushes and other dog brushes before but never liked them. I like how with the fabric one just sits tight on the finger so I can feel exactly what I am doing. I also have the exact same tartar remover as you do, it's decent for the bigger teeth but I need to find some way to clean my dogs tiny front teeth. I am looking for some kind of ultra-sound type but am not sure which ones are good.

Really helpful. But my frenchy is very heavy set. Shes only 1.5 years old and very excitable. Unfortunately has led to some deep scratching on my legs and feet and my 4year old grandchild, just where she jumps up with excitement. She is too nervous for me to cut her nails. And more good tips would be gratefully received. I will try the board.
