🦶WE SOLD OUR CAR! Why We Love Walking Instead
Which city?
I’m in Guam and would like to do similar. Any experience of cutting back a mango tree? I have a large tree and I am seriously thinking of cutting it back and then grafting several different varieties onto the tree so maximize my space.
What is the size of your food forest?
What is your average rainfall? Thanks
My dad made a drink out of Roselle fruit this morning He added a little bit of sugar and salt It taste great You must try it too!!
I may have missed it but did you throw away the coffee plants or did you compost them? Great job btw 🙏🏼
@@td2926 we stacked the coffee plants around the perimeter of the property for now they’re reinforcing our property walls. In the future they can be chipped to mulch our forest or they’ll compost down where they are and we can plant more in their current place
@@EarthFarm9 Awesome, thanks for the reply 🌷
@@td2926 thanks for the chat 💚
What a beautiful caterpillar 😢 and the bird is even more beuatiful! So you can plant the pineapple just like that, I'll try it in Yangana at a friend's property, they have a beautiful black soil there ❤
Love it but i live in australia
@@ChrisEAdlay I have heard of a few established communities in Australia and some very skilled homesteaders. Some excellent tropical fruits grow there

Have you tried stretching out your condenser coil so that you actually are able to produce cooler steam at the end? I just noticed that you were losing some steam

@@SethBailin I appreciate your willingness to discuss topics openly in public forums. It helps our species to evolve
Muscadines are actually native grapes. The green one is called a Scuppernong. They each have a distinct taste. They don't have a pit, they have seeds, I heard you crunch them! lol There are many varieties of these as of course people cultivate and grow these mostly for wine making. We have a a few rows in our yards with both of these varieties. They can make great wine, but jelly for the win! They are great for yard snacking too! Oh and you are missing out by not eating the skin if you like tartness.
Yes many excuses I've seen over the years, sad that we could have had hundreds of people if they didn't make excuses. Big one is travelers don't wanna stay put
@@AdvExplorer I think you’re very right. That’s a good point I didn’t think to mention. The types of people that come through communities often have perfection syndrome and are seeking the “perfect” location
17th view. My buddy is fleeing Ecuador for a variety of reasons, but saying that the police bribes are out of control, the pres is a Muppet for the WEF. I hope thats just their take.... probably not your experience. Hope its a nice country for you. Ive got a Peatarian tropical fruit farm in the pacific, been through about 20 people who said they would be on the way in a month or so, and never even came close to leaving the drama show behind and coming out into peace and tranquilty. So its not a vegan thing, its just a humanity thing. You probably have way way more potential attracting vegans than I can attracting artists and Peatarians. But People have been bred to protect their chains, mortgages and jobs and cars and dogs and cats and family.... ive heard them all. Probably all intentional communities go through some version of it.
Screw WWOOF. They kicked us out of the program at the beginning of Covid because we refused to host people that were vaccinated, yet you can refuse to host anyone you want for any reason you want, but having a MS patient here on property wasnt a good explanation for the manager of WWOOF international. So We had to leave and never went back. I wonder if they are enjoying their turbo cancer......
@@greyone308 the police here have been extraordinarily more respectful and helpful then then police in my home country of USA
@@EarthFarm9 Thats not setting the bar very high though.
@@greyone308 the overall quality of life in he tropics is very high tho
@@EarthFarm9 Ive been in the US tropics for 7 years now. Life is great on a fruit farm of my own design, no taxes, no visas, way cheaper than where I came from in the US ghetto. I cant find a roomy at 200$ a month to save my life, but other than that.... I could not be happier picking fruits that i grew from seed. If you have access to Mangosteen fruit, eat one for me. Im 3 years in to 4 trees of bolivian mangosteen, and Ive never tried one. I really hope to be able to keep my farm until those trees produce.
You are on the leading edge.
@@veganninja9144 intentional communities have been around for a long time and there are many very established ones around the world
@@EarthFarm9 vegan ones? Okay
@@veganninja9144 yes there are some vegan ones but not as many. I do believe our community Fruit Haven may be the largest in the world that we know of
@@EarthFarm9 I've just found your channel and it's very interesting, I'm respecting what you are doing friend. I wonder, are intentional communities the original way humans lived? Makes me think it is. Where modern day life has lost the way by comparison
@@Npwn thank you for the affirmations we appreciate you 💚 I think before laws, taxes, tyrannical police officers, and modern industrialization were in reality that most humans would probably live together to help enrich each others lives. I think some people would still choose a solitary life where they could pursue a shaman like path a path of self realization

I think you dont want to eat them right off the tree. Most of the research I have done states that european pears need to ripen off the tree for a minimum of 3-4 days with some varieties taking more than a month.
@@paulpaul1815 we eat them directly from the tree and we feel great. Not Everything we read is true
You need salt!! I dont care what the medical industry says, but you need salt! How did this turn out? did you change anything or get better results?
We get potassium from the foods we eat or easily supplement.
Great selection of trees 👍
Ive always wondered if the greens were edible
Where did you order them from?
My cempadak is fruiting ❤
Yellow salak sounds cool!! Would love the seedlings eventually❤
I just fill them with water before I cut them. Chiseling can also create sparks. I respect that you prefer hand-tools. I take an angle grinder and cut just below the top line on the outside to create/preserve the lid.
cool ;-] nice fruity trees 🤘 What is the website you guys are ordering from ?
