That's a big one
How you have that solterra set up?
@@jmsalazar654 100lb braid then 100m of 100lb mono mate 👍🏼
shark steaks on the bbq
@@superbeast-lq3ft funny you say that, i tried some 3ft bullshark on the pitboss pellet grill / smoker this last weekend.... Was pretty damn good 👌🏼
Why are you 100 yds off the wash.Thats odd
@@anthonyrichardson343 where the rod holder is set? I learned it from guys doing aussie LBSF for years... Its for elevation when using 100lb line it keeps it out of as much waves pulling on the line as possible... Plus keeps it above people walking and 4x4s driving past So yeah theres heaps of reasons really, probably a few extras i forgot too
I've never really understood the reason why people swim at Shelly Beach in Ballina. I mean the mouth of the Richmond is right there.... Catching guys like this there only affirmed for me to head a beach or two north of the river mouth to get away from the dirty water coming out of the river.
@@petert3355 lighthouse beach too... It touches north wall. To be fair all our beaches and rivers hold these big sharks in peak season though
@Shark_n_Shoot Yeah, I've even caught them at Grey's Falls below Casino. 10 foot 3, landed in about 10 mins is good going, makes the release easy.
@Shark_n_Shoot Agreed, they are everywhere, that is why a little shark knowledge is a handy thing. Bull sharks love dirty water, especially river mouths during floods, as they can scavenge a free meal maybe. As such, don't going swimming in dirty waters is generally considered a smart thing.
@petert3355 any decent sized ones at casino? Oh and mine wasnt landed in 10mins, fought hard and on the 50w reel took close to an hour
@@Shark_n_Shoot 6 foot is the biggest I've caught there, only below the falls though. They don't seem to go above the falls. Even a 60 minute fight for a 10 footer is quick. Would certainly be a workout for the arms, shoulders, and lower back.
Are you in south Ballina
@@jakewebster-y5x These big breeding females are swimming up and down all our beaches atm. So for that reason alone i will just say Ballina. I dont want people to think they are in more or less danger at one beach than another. If you frequent the local beaches i fish, you will likely be able to guess where each different video or photo is shot 😉👍🏼
Awesome bully mate looks like a good place to get the big ones was that at angles beach
@@bullsharkhunter5267 not at angels beach this time, but they are there in good numbers... Hell they are on every beach around here, just go for a drive and choose a beach with the least amount of people as possible... Preferably none. I treck a looooong way from people before even thinking about sending a bait out for a shark 👍🏼
Great stuff lad's that's a big girl
@@brettjames2639 cheers mate, just bought a gopro and first time filming and editing... Ive got alot to learn, lucky i already know how to fish haha 😅
